So a long time ago, someone on the Cricut board posted a card that reminded me of sunshine. So, a long time ago I thought I would make one too. Well, I found the unfinished card the other day and decided to actually finish it. I like it. I really do. I just might do another!
I used three or four different handmade papers, cut and assembled with hemp twine covering the "joints." The sentiment is Stampin' Up.

The Best Things in Life Handstamped Card
I colored this image at least 2 months ago. Yup, that's my process sometimes. I start something, tell myself I'll finish it tomorrow, but then tomorrow brings another project that I will leave unfinished. Then one day, I have a pile of stuff on my desk and I decide to finish all unfinished projects.
Can you read the caption? It reads. "Why are the best things in life either bad for you or fattening?" Wow, so true....so true.
This is the inside of the card. These are Inkadinkado stamps that I colored in using prisma pencils and gamsol. I just love the attitude in the little girl's face.

Imagine Daisies Card Sketch
I've been cleaning up my desk and it seems to be a never ending project, so I finally gave up and did the latest card sketch at Splitcoaststampers.
Here's the sketch
Here's my card - I turned it on it's side.
I recently got the Upsy Daisy set from Stampin' Up and this is the first time I was inspired to use it. The paper is K&M - used my 50% off coupon at Michaels! I also used my Cropadile to attach the flower.

Thank You For A Great Easter
We really had a great Easter. Had good food, good company, and a fun egg hunt for the 3 little ones. My darling would pick up one egg and two eggs would roll out of her basket! She tried. I made a card for my Auntie who put on the little shin-dig at her house, and one for my little Cousin who was able to be in town with us. She gave my girl a few outfits and I wanted to make sure to say thanks.
This is made with all Stampin' Up materials.
This one happens to use a doodlebat from ScrapNFonts. The flowers were printed in the different colors, hand cut, and then popped up. To make sure the squares were the same color as the flowers, I simply made colored squares. The sentiment is printed with my Xyron Runner (which is currently out of ink).

Wise Owl Vintage Handmade Card
This little guy is made using a doodlebat from Scrapnfonts and a dictionary from 1985. The paperpack is also new, but for the life of me, I can't remember who it is. Believe it or not, working with such fine paper (from the dictionary) is quite difficult. I also added a bit of sewing.

Handmade Monogram Cards
I've been gone, but I'm back! I've been dealing with a sick kid and two exams. Well, my baby is feeling much better and I think I did well on my exams.
My little cousin is in town for a few weeks (the same cousin I made this for), and I wanted to send her off with a little something.
Monogram cards seem to be all the rage so I pulled out my Mini Monograms cart and went for it! This was my first attempt at using MM. I can't believe I didn't use it earlier. It's a great cart.
