Birthday Fish Smoosh card

Hello and happy Saturday!  Today I'm sharing a card for the latest Catch the Bug Challenge Blog: Color Inspiration (please see blog for color swatch).

I'm not big on color challenges because I never feel I have the right color papers, so this time, I made my own.  I did the watercolor smoosh technique to hopefully get the correct colors, then I colored my cute fish from the Under the Sea Birthday Set from Bugaboo Stamps.  I finished this off with some sequins bubbles, a little glaze, and a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit sentiment.
See the glossy goodness on his eyes?  I've used this guy before and just love his expression.  Plus, fish seem to be the only "pet" I'm not allergic to.  So join in on this week's color challenge if you get a chance!  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Patches the Ghost D2D Halloween Card

Hello and thank you for stopping by!  Today I have a quick share.  I don't make too many Halloween cards, but this year I did manage to get a few done.

I'm featuring another card using an image from Designed2Delight - whose artist, Faith, (also known as From the Heart Stamps) is no longer with us.  This is Patches the Ghost, and the sentiment is from Stampin' Ups Teeny Tiny Wishes (one of my favorite sentiment sets ever).

So that's about it from me today.  Again, thanks for taking a peek at my latest creation.

This meets the following challenges:  My Time to Craft: Halloween or Cats (I have both!)Animal Friends: Halloween with an animal, Crafts Galore Encore: Anything Goes, and World Wide Open DT Challenge: Anything Goes.

Card for Cake Decorating Day

Hello and happy Hump Day!  Did you know that Monday was Cake Decorating Day?  At Catch the Bug Blog, we like to celebrate just about every little holiday out there.  So here is my creation for Cake Decorating Day:

I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Dollar Candle Cake - and yes, it happens to cost only $1 for this cute digi.
I also wanted to try this double-z fold card.  I've done one in the horizontal orientation, but this one is vertical.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit.
And here is a side view.  I'm actually quite happy with how this turned out.  So that's my share for the day.  I hope all is well in your part of the work and thank you for taking a peek.
