Hanging Lights Christmas Card

Hello and I'm back with another last minute Christmas card.  I made a few of these and added a bit of glitter cardstock to fancy it up a bit.  The fancy die is from Spellbinders.

The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit, heat embossed.  I'm not overly happy with the embossing, but I tried.  I used to love heat embossing, but I guess I just sort of stopped doing it and now I'm a bit rusty with this technique.  Oh well.

That's it.  Just a quick share today.  Thank you for taking a look.

This meets the following challenges:  Watercooler Wednesday: Anything Goes, Cuttlebug Mania: Lights (Using my Cuttlebug for all my diecuts), Little Red Wagon: Any Winter Holiday Goes, and House-Mouse & Friends: Anything Goes with option of Christmas.

  Thank you Watercooler Wednesday!!

Thank you Cuttlebug Mania!

Winter Bear Christmas Card

Hello and happy hump day!  I'm running late on making Christmas cards...well, I'm going to be honest, I'm late on just about everything at the moment and boy is my back killing me - since that's where I carry my stress.  And having a back being held together with titanium bars and 8 long screws, it tends to affect whether my legs work or not.

But I'm not here for a pity party!  I'm here to show you my latest card for the Catch the Bug Holiday Critter Chaos week!  This is a week of challenges with lots of prizes, so join in if you get a chance!

I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Winter Bears Mini Set, which comes with the sentiment.  I colored up a few of these, added a few snowflakes from Sizzix, sequins, and twine.  I kept this as flat as possible for mailing.

So that is my share today.  Please join the week long challenges if you can!  Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Happy Mouse For You Card

Hello and I hope you are having a great week.  Today I'm sharing a card for the latest Corrosive Challenge: Anything Goes.  Plus, they are looking for Design Team members for the new year, so please apply if you are looking to join the team.

I'm featuring Happy Mouse by Fabrika Fantasy.  I just loved this image, and he reminds me of Slowpoke Rodriguez.  Anyone remember him?  Most remember Speedy Gonzales, but rarely do people remember his fun cousin.
Rather straight forward, easy creation.  I fussy cut the image and popped him up for a little added interest, and of course, a little glaze.  He's an all occasion card, but I'm think birthday.  Anyway, that's it from me for today.

Thank you so much for stopping by to take a peek at my latest creation, especially knowing how busy we are this time of year.

This meets the following challenges:  Cardz TV: Anything Goes, Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes, 2 Crafty Critter Crazies: Anything Goes, and Digi Choosday: Anything Goes.

Thank you 2 Crafty Critter Crazies!!

  Thank you Digi Choosday!!

Christmas Penguin Card

Hello and welcome to December!!  The Papercraft Business Challenge is taking a break this month, but will return in January!  I'm here to share my latest creation:
I looked through images and came upon this Just Some Lines image from long ago (store is closed).  I don't know what it is about penguins and Christmas, but they do seem to go hand in hand.

I colored my penguin with Copics, fussy cut, and used black Copic around the image so the white part of the cardstock is not visible.
I'm using a Sizzix die for the scalloped card - and it's a bit difficult using my Cuttlebug, but I like the results as long as I'm patient.  I added a bit of glaze over my sparkly pen and only popped up the penguin.

Thank you for stopping by to take a peek at my latest creation.  Have a wonderful day.
