Meant to Behave Cat

Hello all!  I have a short post to share today.
Isn't this cat just the cutest??  I didn't want to go with the toilet paper shortage kind of card, but instead something just for fun.  I found this image at Ikes Art Facebook Page.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC.  I used a layout from a really old papercrafts magazine as a jumping off point since I've been struggling with creativity lately.
I added just a touch of glaze, but for the most part kept this flat for mailing.  So that is it from me!  Thank you for taking a look and have a wonderful week.

This meets the following challenges: Ike's World: Round/Dots (or Anything Goes), Show Us Your Pussycats: Furrything Goes, Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes, and 2 Crafty Critter Cazies: Anything Goes with a Critter.

Mermaid from Outer Space Card

Hello all!  Today I'm here to share a card for the latest Corrosive Challenge blog: Anything Goes.
I'm featuring a stamp by Oddball Art titled Mermaids from Outer Space.  I actually tried to make the entire background, using distress inks.  I've used inks before, but I also put in stars and for me, to freehand anything is a really big deal.  Plus, I did a bit of heat embossing but I obviously chose the wrong color.
I should have maybe went with a white, or....I don't know, but I think the gold sentiment is hard to see.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up's Trendy Trees.  Either way, I was trying to be a little more adventurous using seldom used inks.

That's it from me today.  Thank you for taking a look and have a wonderful day.  Please join in this month at Corrosive Challenge if you get a chance.

This meets the following challenges:  Digi Choosday: Anything GoesThrough the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes, Get Creative: Fantasy, and A Bit More Time to Craft: Anything Goes.

Dad Grillin Father's Day Card

Hello and welcome to June!  I feel like I have missed a lot of time and skipped straight to summer.  I guess with the way things are, it's ok to skip a few days here and there and just move on to 2021.  But for today, I'm sharing a card for the latest Papercraft Business Challenge: Father's Day:

There are lots of images out there but I went with Bugaboo Stamps A Kids View Barbeque since it most closely relates to a dad in my life.

I went really simple and avoided sequins :)  The most I added was a bit of sparkle to the grilling utensils.  The banner and star are popped up, but the rest of the card is flat.  I tried to be as simple as possible I guess as my way of going masculine.

That's it for my simple creation today.  Play along in the challenge for a chance to win a cute Lawn Fawn stamp set.  Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful day.

This meets the following challenges:  CRAFT: Masculine (fits in with Dad sentiment and male image), Simon Says Wednesday challenge: Masculine, Use Your Stuff: Masculine (using all stash, nothing new), and Cardz 4 Guyz: Father's Day.
