Thinking Bee

I have a good friend, DJ, and 13 years ago, we went to a pet store and picked out Shaggy together. Shaggy had lots of character and lots of hair. It got to the point where his people (DJ and her DH) had to let go...so He passed this Sunday. This card is for them:


The deets: K&Co Wild Saffron DP, bee is from Cricut Sentimentals, nesties, chalk ink, stazon, Stampin' Up's Trendy Trees for the sentiment.


I know DJ is really hurting...and it made me think of Max. It's so hard to lose our furry loved ones...and some people dismiss the hurt because it's "just a pet." But I know it's more than that. I really hope this brings a smile to her face.

    Oh how sad. Our little furry ones become like our children. I am so sorry for their loss, I am sure they will appreciate your card.

    You are a great friend! I am in a similar situation with a Golden that is 15 yrs old and failing. I am sure your friend will appreciate your sweetness!

    My best friend just passed away in March too. I can't tell you how much it meant to me that my friends remembered me and my dog. This card is just beautiful!

    Such a sweet card. I love your bee, and thanks for joining in with us for our BBTB2 bee challenge. I am so sorry about your friend's dog...it is a most sad thing when our beloved pets pass from us.

    What a sweet card ! I love the yellow you used on your bee - it compliments the background a bunch ! My sister just lost one golden of many years and her other is failing as well.
