Mermaid in Purple

Which I found a little hard to do...but hopefully I pulled this one off in my birthday card:
I'm using Ava Mermaid and a little "dot" technique I've "learned" from Cheryl at The Ink Trap. I obviously need lots more practice, so please check out her tutorial for what this should really look like! Plus, her work is AMAZING, so you'll really want to follow her.
Here she is close up. She really is just adorable and Bean is all into mermaids lately. The layout is from Splitcoaststampers SC159, and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Petite Pairs. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great week.
