Hello all. I have a "craft" post for you today. I LOVE to find tutorials online, and thought I'd share one that turned out pretty good.
Cute huh? This was Beanie's project. She was able to cut the socks, stuff them (we used a plastic pellet stuffing found at Michael's - I don't trust to stuff with food items), pick out eyes and buttons, and style their hats. So that's really a LOT on her own. Find the great tutorial HERE while it's still winter. We don't get snow, but these two adorn Bean's bathroom sink.

Penguin with Roses
Hello all and Happy Sunday (**so much for Auto Post). Today I'm sharing the current Stella Says Sketch at Catch the Bug!
I'm using Penguin Roses and left it without a sentiment on purpose....because I was lazy. Plus, I couldn't decide if this should be love, friendship, thinking of you, anniversary....
Orange is my DH's favorite color. So maybe this could be a get well card.
Don't forget to play along for a chance to win! Thanks for stopping by!!

Love Ewe
Hello all and Happy Friday! Today I'm sharing this weeks FREEBIE FRIDAY from Bugaboo Stamps!
Very cute and perfect for Valentines Day. It comes with a sentiment but I made the ticket instead.
If you'd like, you can download my TICKET or the POLKA DOT PAPER AND TICKET (PDF). The paper is sized 4.5" by 5.5" - so just a little room to trim. I suggest printing it out on light weight cardstock. And don't forget to pick up the Bugaboo freebie too!!

Valentine Book with Birdie Brown
Hello all. Tonight I have class, so it's going to be a LONG day. Today I have a quick post using this month's freebie from Birdie Brown. Her digi's are adorable!
I colored the digi on the computer, then printed it on kraft (8.5 x 11" kraft makes 2 books).
I cut approximately 12 pages of colored paper (regular printing paper) in half - so they measured 8.5" by 5.5" - I also cut the kraft in half as well (same measurements). I did score the kraft just so I would have a sewing line without marking my CS.
Simple straight stitch, folded everything in half, put under books overnight, and done. Two little books the same size as an A2 card. Little Valentine gift for Bean and her cousin. If you have questions or something doesn't make sense, just let me know!
This meets the following challenges:
So, in October, I got my DH a Groupon for his birthday to go hang gliding. He LOVED it and was hooked. He's been doing it ever since. Well, he was up for a certification (yup, you need certifications to jump off certain type hills), and this is what happened:
Over a dozen facial fractures, broken nose, and nerve damage. His helmet was in pieces. But thank the Lord that he's alive.

You Mean So Much
Hello and happy Wednesday. Today I'm playing with some freebies. I find them all over the place and collect the ones that I'm drawn to, and always hope to use. So that's exactly what I did!!
The gorgeous flowers are from Oak Pond Creations and the sentiment is from Create with TLC.
I actually ran out of yellow part way through my coloring and had to wait for my Copic refill shipment! Do you know how long that takes? Well, it takes 3 days, but it feels like forever!
I popped up two of the flowers and the white sentiment circle (that is placed on white). Was going for a little dimension. I also shaded the flowers with chalk inks. This style is a little different for me, but I'm happy with the end result.

Piglet Love
Hello and Happy MLK Day! We have the day off, so Redbox, here we come!
Today I'd like to share a card using Doodle Pantry's Precious Piglet and will be entering it into this months challenge.
I know, I know. My colors are a little bright, but I wanted to use him so bad and didn't really think this through. I still like it though. Don't get me wrong!
I'm so used to cutting out my images that I had no clue what layout would be good for this image. Hopefully I pulled it off. This is a Valentine Card...just realized, maybe a pig doesn't convey a message of love? I really need to stop thinking too hard about this one. It'll drive me crazy!

Bugaboo Bingo Dino Love
Hello and Happy Saturday!! My first week of classes is over and so far I have a LOT of reading to do. At least it's a 3 day weekend right? Anyway, I'm here to share this week's challenge at Catch the Bug:
This is Sprout's Valentine's card! I'm so proud considering it's still a month away and I've finished something early!! This is technically her 2nd Valentine's since she was born on February 8, but I neglected to make her a card last year. We were a little...busy.
I call her a little monster...if you met her, you would call her one too. So I'm going with a little animal to remember these "special" moments - Dino Heart 1.
The year is cut from Cricut Cart Mickey Font (1" plus shadow - shadow is in pink and difficult to see). I added a little glaze and pop dots. I'm starting her card box, so she can have them when she's grown - and hopefully will appreciate them!
Again, thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
For my card, I'm going with Pink, Bugaboo Image, and Flower:

Party with Bugaboo
Hello all and welcome to the final post for the Catch the Bug, Bugaboo Birthday Bash. Today's festivities include a FREEBIE!
OK, so I saw this awesome little card/box at Cely's blog and thought "that's awesome! I must do this too." Well, I had a few problems. I think it was the cardstock I used. But hey, I tried.
My Party Block is computer colored. I'm sure there's a more technical way to say that, but I don't really know computer speak. Basically, I didn't color this! And here it is with the band removed. Please, don't be swayed by my attempt! I've seen really gorgeous examples of this awesome little boxes.
So that's a week of Birthday fun at Catch the Bug. Hope you've enjoyed all the festivities.

Dino-mite Birthday with Bugaboo
Hello all and thanks for joining me for day 6 at Catch the Bug's Birthday Bash. Today's theme is:
Super simple image to color up, added a balloon from Cricut Cart George & Basic Shapes (1 1/4" plus shadow), and black thread. This really is a LOT "happier" IRL....I think I used the wrong background color when taking my pic. Live and learn.
The sentiment is computer generated - and attached if you'd like to grab it (aka FREEBIE). Hopefully it works!
Just click for it to open, then right click to save. Thanks again for stopping by and don't forget about all the mini challenges at Catch the Bug for chances to win!

Pop of Color
Hello all and welcome to another day at Catch the Bug for the Birthday Bugaboo Bash. Today's theme is:
I was actually inspired by Cely's set of cards. I simply printed her out in word and added the sentiment. That's it. No fuss. Oh, I did color the balloon but that took no time at all.
Don't forget, there are lots of challenges going on this week! The entire week is in one post at Catch the Bug and there are LOTS of chances of winning!
BLACK & WHITE WITH A POP OF COLOR
I'm featuring Wee One Balloon Girl and I don't think it could get more basic than this.I was actually inspired by Cely's set of cards. I simply printed her out in word and added the sentiment. That's it. No fuss. Oh, I did color the balloon but that took no time at all.

Going Gothic with Kenny K
Hello all and welcome to my very first "official" Kenny K post. Today I'm sharing a card for the latest challenge at the Krafty Krew:
Beanie loved this one..."is that a goth girl? I want to do a goth girl." What does my 5 year old know about goth?!
I'm using Kitty Katastrophe from Kenny K and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes. The little hearts were found (attached - like ribbon) in the Target dollar spot!
The sponsors this week (a.k.a. prizes from...):
Thanks for joining me on my first Kenny K post!

The sentiment is made using those little individual letter stamps from Michael's. I wasn't overly concerned with them being even so I just stamped away!
Now the fun part: leave me a comment for your chance to win this adorable stamp!! Yup, just a little comment is all it takes. Next on the hop is the talented Lori Padberg! Thanks for joining me and hope you enjoy the hop!!

Earring Card
Hello and happy Tuesday. Today I'm sharing an ABC (Anything But a Card) on Catch the Bug.
I'm using Flower Tag 5 as an earring card. These are for Bean who's birthstone is emerald and these tags color up so quick.
These were put in her advent calendar and she loved them. She's an earring girl - just like her mama!

Merry Christmas to Ewe
Hello all and Happy Monday! I'm not usually a Monday person, but today I'm feeling productive! Of course, I probably won't accomplish a thing...but hey, I FEEL like I will.
Let me share this week's challenge at Catch the Bug:
I'm using Merry Christmas to Ewe for my ATC. So this is a little baseball card size creation for my ATC swap group. Believe it or not, the hardest part was putting on those little photo corner thingys.
The sentiment is from Stampin Up's Petite Pairs, added a little glaze, and that's about all to these little guys. So hope you find time to enter this week for your chance to win!

Girl Fish by Kenny K
Hello all and Happy New Year! Just a reminder to leave me a comment at THIS POST in order to be entered to win some Kenny K Candy!
I also thought I'd share a card using Girl Fish by Kenny K. I placed her on a colored background (in word), but she is colored up with copics - and I added a little glittered eyeshadow. Anyway, just a quick post as I try to get organized! Don't forget to enter for Candy!!
