Hello and Welcome to the first day of May!! Time sure flies by when you're living life to the fullest.
Today I'm excited to share a new release from Doodle Pantry, Parrot Play:
So, I had an idea in mind and it just kept going. This is for my brother and nephew, so I was going to a masculine type card....and then added flowers. A little quirky, yes, but hopefully not too strange.
Here's a shot of the dimension. I used the newly released Card Cut 6 using MTC on my Cricut for the frame. I like these cuts, they're easy and clean. So that's all for today. Happy May and Happy Thursday and thanks so much for stopping by!! This meets the following challenges: Crafting By Designs: Anything Goes, Crafting for All Seasons: Lots of Layers, Simon Says: Anything Goes.
That's a gorgeous parrot! Love your cuts, and I don't think it's quirky at all. Guys can deal with flowers, just not too many, I think! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card Lola ! Love the frames around the image... Hugs, blessings and love from Catherine
ReplyDeleteStunning creations, Lola. The parrot looks fantastic against the gingham and beautiful cut file.
ReplyDeleteStunning card, Lola! I love the way you framed the parrot. Thanks so much for playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes!
ReplyDeleteOh wow the beautifully coloured parrot is sitting so wonderfully in your gorgeous design.

Hi Lola, great card. I like the flowers, they go great with the bird. I'm glad to see you used the card cutout also. I hope your nephew loves the card.

I think even with the flowers the card is masculine! Great colours and layout!
ReplyDeleteIt IS quirky BUT it really grows on you. Love the flowers. Even with them, the card is "manly!"
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the vibrant colors. Thank you for joining our May Anything Goes Challenge at Crafting By Designs.
