Spring Butterfly with Bugaboo Stamps

Hello all and Happy Thursday!  Today I'm sharing a card for this weeks challenge at Catch the Bug: Spring into Spring.
I know I don't have the most spring-y colors, but when I think of spring, I think of butterflies, and bees, and bunnies...not necessarily a color palette.  I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Chubby Butterfly and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Petite Pairs.  So you still have time to play along, so hope you will join us!  I will also be joining the following challenges: Papertake Weekly: Happy Anything,  Party Time Tuesday: Anything Goes, and Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes.

    This is delightful, Lola! Your coloring is jaw dropping - such a unique color for the butterfly but it's so striking!

    Gorgeous coloring and I like that you didn't go with traditional spring colors, shows it can be done for a different and still amazing look!

    It's Spring and our grass is still brown since we have zygoia grass. But, yup, butterflies, bees, pollen and flowers jump into my head. I love visiting your blog to see what great Bugaboo images I have over looked for a card. You card is CAS yup still put a great big smile on my face. Love the way the shadows appear around the butterfly and antenna's. The little flowers are a nice added touch to pop the sentiment.

    OMG, this is so stinkin' cute! Love your amazing coloring. I am impressed how the black coloring looks. Usually when I color with black it turns out into a solid blob w/o gradient tones like yours.

    Lola your butterfly is gorgeous! I always forget I can make the Bugaboo images any size I want...what a great reminder!
