Hello all. Today I'm sharing a card for this weeks challenge at Catch the Bug. The first Saturday of each month is Anything Goes! So to get a jump start on this year's Christmas Cards, I made this:
I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Christmas Trio Blocks - only using one block. The background is a paint sample swiped from Home Depot long ago when deciding on paint for my living room. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit and the die cut is Sizzix. So join in this week!
This meets the following challenges: Crafting With Friends: Anything Goes, Jingle Belles: Let the Flakes Fall Where They May, If You Give A Crafter A Cookie: Photo Inspiration, and Simply Papercraft: Always Anything Goes.
OMG!!! You rock. I have taken samples but not even thinking of the groups of 4 shades.....how dog gone clever. I see everyone using these strings. How do you get them to keep their shape? It's very cool and I LOVE your card; however, I'm not ready to start on Christmas...haha You should be finishing up touches for one little lady's birthday party....haha
ReplyDeleteLovely! and clever! I've entered a few challenges in the past where the challenge was to use paint chips from the store. I once made them the base for a whole mini album!
ReplyDeleteThe teal is gorgeous, and I love your card.
