Hello. Today I would like to share a birthday card.
Quite a while back, I made a purchase from Paper Wishes. It's sort of like a card kit, called Summertime Gumdrops, with papers, die cuts, and something called Dazzles. So the hippo and sentiment are from this kit, and the layout is made using an MFT Die-Namics set (used in my trusty Cuttlebug).
The black hippo portion is the Dazzle that I put on white cardstock, colored
with Copics, and fussy cut. The sentiment is also a Dazzle that I put directly on the DP. The Dazzles are shiny, and I actually quite like them. I popped up the hippo for a little dimension.
That's about it for today. Thanks for taking a look and have a wonderful day.
This meets the following challenges: Cut it Up: #195 Green With Envy, Cuttlebug Mania: Birthday (Must use a Cuttlebug), Digi Choosday: Anything Goes, Die Cut Divas: Anything Goes, and Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes.
Thank you Cuttlebug Mania!
Cute everything here Lola, xx
ReplyDeleteLOLA! I am loving this gorgeous hippo card- so fun and festive!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great birthday card. Love the pastel colors with the hope of spring colors. And that's how I feel I look....extra winter weight, lol. Great coloring.
ReplyDeleteLove Love Love...your cards make me smile. I' liking the Dazzle and need to look up. I like the dimension and shiny. Garage sale this weekend. Need to offset the awful stock market loses...haha

ReplyDeleteThis is too much fun! This would be my family; every time there is a party someone asks will there be cake... as if there would be no cake! hahaha Great colors, sentiment, and that hippo is delightful! Thanks for sharing with us at Cut It Up! Katrina
ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh, that's just too cute! I love my Cuttlebug, too. I have an electric physical die cutting machine, too, but the Cuttlebug is what I always reach for.
