Stampin Up Artistically Inked Sympathy Cards

Hello and happy Monday.  Today I'm sharing a couple cards made with new-to-me stamps.  I'm trying to use things I have on hand - especially never-been-used items I purchased and haven't gotten around to use!  Am I the only one?

This first card features Stampin' Up's Artistically Inked set for the flowers and Stampin' Up's Petite Pairs for the sentiment.

This coral creation also features the Artistically Inked set and the sentiment is from a past Paper Pumpkin.

I feel I'm particularly bad at creating sympathy cards, but I was on a mission and I think I did ok.

Thanks for taking a look and have a wonderful week!

Wild Animals Birthday Cards

Hello and happy fall!!  I would have to say my favorite season is fall.  There is just a feel to the air that draws me in.  Anyway, today I'm sharing a set of cards:

All the cards feature Stampin' Up's Biggest Wish for the sentiments.  I really like this set.
My critters are from a stamp set that came in the Creative Stamping Magazine Issue 78 from Paperwishes.

These were fun for me since I don't usually use these types of animals on cards.  More realistic.

I don't remember where the papers are from, but I think they are sort of retro looking.  Super simple layouts but I think they came out ok.

Thank you for taking a look and have a wonderful weekend!

My cards meet the following challenges:  Addicted to Stamps: Birthday, Digi Choosday: Anything Goes, Passion for Markers: Use a Rubber or Clear Stamp (I used both), Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes, and Jan's Digi Stamps: Anything Goes.

Let's Celebrate You Horse Card

Hello and happy Monday!!  Popping in to share a creation using a digi stamp I won a while back.

This card features Pony Flower by Hetty Clare.  I love blue daisies!  I created my plaid background using the Plaid Layering Stencil from Taylored Expressions, as well as the All About You sentiment and diecut from My Favorite Things.

That's it for today!  Thanks for taking a look and have a wonderful week!

Wish Fish Ocean Handmade Card

Hello and wow it's already August!  So much going on in life, but I'm trying to fit in a little coloring and card making whenever possible.

I made the following for the latest Corrosive Challenge: Anything Goes

The Emma the Mermaid and Friends digi set is full of underwater goodness and I completely fell for this fish image.  The background is also part of the digi set, but I only colored the main image so it would pop.

There still a bit over a week to enter this month's anything goes challenge.

Thank you for stopping by!

This meets the following challenges: Digi Choosday: Anything Goes, Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes, AAA Birthday: Anything Birthday Goes, and The Paper Players: Keep it Simple Nautical.

Groovy Rory Retro Flower Child

 Hello and welcome July!

Today I'm sharing a card I made for last month's Corrosive Challenge.

My image is Rory Love and Peace Hippie by Colour of Love.  I thought she was just adorable.  I created my background is Taylored Expressions Dahlia Stencil with Ranger Inks.  The sentiment is diecut using Sizzix.  I cut each letter 3 times to make them thick.

Thanks for taking a look at one of my latest creations.

My card meets the following challenges:  A Gem of a Challenge: Anything Goes, Happy Little Stampers: Anything Goes with Dies, and Cut it Up: Summer Lovin' with Die cut.

Sweet Peach Stampin Up Cards

Hello!  I guess I'm not the most consistent with posting, but life really has been super busy for me.  I still try to create things here and there, but not as much as I would like.

Anyway, today I'm sharing a few recent cards made with Stampin' Up's Sweet as a Peach set.

Simple layouts and I must admit there was a bit of a learning curve for me with this set.

Clean and simple with a few added dew drops.

And finally a thank you card.  I hope to use this set again really soon to make plums - I saw that wonderful idea somewhere online and thought it was just brilliant.

This meets the following challenges:  Simon Says: Anything Goes, Digi Choosday: Anything Goes, and Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes.

Alice the Artist for Valentines Day

Hello and wow, June is just around the corner!

Today I'm sharing my last Valentine card.  Yes, it's late, but I really wanted to finish this.  Also, it's just in time for the Corrosive Challenge - Anything Goes.

I'm featuring Big Eye Female Artist Blank Canvas Alice the Artist from Oddball Art.  I tried to be really random on the canvas, but I'm no artist!

Thank you for taking a look and have a wonderful day!

Digi Doodle Valentine Card

Hello and yay it's Friday.  When I wish my kid a happy Fri-YAY, she just rolls her eyes like I'm the most un-cool mom in the world.

Anyway, I'm here to let you know you still have a few days to enter the Corrosive Challenge: Anything Goes.

I'm featuring a card made for my bestest cousin ever for Valentines Day.  The image is Phillip Loves Suki from Digi Doodle Studios.  I colored it up to match her and her husband.  The background was created using a background stamp, embossed in white, then Ranger Inks to add the blue colors.

Short post today.  Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my latest creation.

Oddball Valentines and Coffee Cards

Hello and welcome February.  2022!!  I can't get over how busy life has been lately.  But for now, I would like to share a few Valentine's Day cards I've been working on.

This is "Red Bunny."  Not exactly red but close enough and I know my little one will know exactly who she is.  This is Zombie Bunny from Oddball Art Co.

My next card features Yeti Love, also from Oddball Art Co.  I created the background using stencils - finally giving that a try.

My final card, for now, is for my bestie.  The stamp is Margaret Coffee by Mirtillamente made for the January Corrosive Challenge.  Again, trying out stencils for my background.

Hopefully this won't be my only post this year!  I also hope to get back to finding inspiration from some of my favorite online creators.  For now, have a wonderful week and thank you for taking a look at my latest creations.
