Turtle Love from Designed2Delight

Hello and Happy Monday!  Hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Ours was SO busy, but got a chance to visit with family, get some shopping done...oops, forgot about the house - yup, it's a disaster.  Oh well.

Today I'm sharing a card using the June Free Stamp of the Month from Designed2Delight.  I admit, I had a few problems with this one.  The turtles and clam are popped up, and the cloud DP is from Pink Petticoat.

I LOVE this little pair.  Reminds me of Crush and Squirt from Finding Nemo.  I have seen that movie a bazillion times (Bean HAD to watch that every night when she was little little).  You still have time to enter the challenge - and you'll get a free stamp for next months challenge!

Watermelon Ant with Bugaboo

Hello all and Happy Saturday!  Today we are going to pick out a new lawn mower!  Yes, it's the little things in life that float my boat.  Anyway, today I'm sharing a card for the latest Catch the Bug Challenge:

Nope, I'm not a fan of photo inspirations, but this immediately brought to mind, picnic ants!

I'm using Picnic Ant Watermelon.  Shakin' things up a little with a round card!  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Just a side view of how I cut off a small portion of the bottom so it doesn't roll away.  Not sure what others do, so just sharing my little tip.

Vintage Cooking with Doodle Pantry

Hello all and Happy Thursday.  Anyone out there like to bake?  I DO!  Very much so.  So of course I HAD to create a card using this rather new release from Doodle Pantry:

This Vintage Cooking set is currently FREE WITH PURCHASE (for a limited time)- and comes colored and in black and white.  I chose to color my own and pop them up - trying to make them the main focal point.  Hmmm, my twine sort of got a little lost in my busy DP (oh well).  And don't forget there's still time to enter the blog challenge to receive a free set AND a chance to win.

Hello all and Happy weekend!  Today starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and this weeks theme is:

I don't think I've ever made a wedding card before....hmmmm....

I'm using Bears Wedding and just realized now I didn't put a sentiment.  That's ok.  This is more than I'm used to anyway.  I can't tell you how many times I took the "ribbon" off and on (this is upcycled from a set of sheets!).  It's wedding season, so create and enter!

Freedom Eagle with Doodle Pantry

Hello all and Happy Saturday!  Today I'm sharing  the NEW RELEASE Freedom Eagle by Doodle Pantry.  I was so excited about this set because it reminds me of Summer...maybe because of Independence Day?

This set comes in B&W and colored.  I'm using the B&W eagle with shield, colored with Copics, and the colored banner.
