Another retro-type card. I just love these advertisements from the 30's. Makes you wonder "what they heck where they thinking?!" I really like the way this card came together.

I had a good time making this card. I thought with the ad being from the 30's, a distressed look was the way to go.

Owl and the Dragonfly

Hello. I just want to share two new cards. The first features my favorite owl from Cricut's Happily Ever After cart. I also used one of my favorite Cuttlebug embossing folders - dots and the scalloped rectangle nestabilities.

The second card is a lift from Fireflies and Flutterbys. Her blog is such an inspiration. I finally had a reason to use my Cuttlebug die/embossing folder for the wings. The circles are cut using George and the sentiment is heat embossed in white.
