Irish Hedgehog St. Patricks Day Card

Hello and hope you are having a wonderful week so far.  Today, I'm here to share a Bugaboo Stamps new release.  I think the fact that we aren't quite in spring affected my paper choice - looking at it now, I should have went with lighter papers, maybe pastels or rainbow types.  Oh well, what's done is done.

I don't send out many St. Pat's day cards, but one must go to my girls' grandparents - who happen to be part Irish.  I also hope to finish a banner and hand print art for decoration before the leprechaun comes for a visit - usually making a mess and dropping coins and chocolates all over the house.

Just a short post today. Thanks for taking a look!

Pluto Hooray Birthday Card

Hello and thank the Lord another week is at an end.  I've been suffering all month with allergies/asthma/sinus infection symptoms. Not exactly full blown sick, but definitely not healthy either!  So I haven't seen a doctor since I don't feel I'm "that bad" yet.  Ulgh! What to do, what to do!

Well, a few things  I've been able to do are sleep, Netflix, and make a card for a few challenges.  My own personal challenge is to go through each Cricut cart I own and come up with something.  I thought this would be great for my older brother's birthday since he loves cartoons.  This is from Cricut Cart Mickey and Friends.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin, and I tried to fill the card with a few additional die cuts.

So that's it for me today.  Off to get in more liquids and rest!

This meets the following challenges:  Cut It Up: Anything Goes, Bitten By the Bug: Licensed Characters, Dragonfly Journeys: Year of the Dog, and CardzTV Challenge 35: Anything Goes.

Reindeer Fun Christmas Card

Hello and thanks for stopping by!  So, I planned on making two Christmas cards per month - and I'm already failing at my mission.  But today, I do happen to have a card for Christmas and for this week's Catch the Bug Challenge: Bingo (please click link for Bingo Card).

I'm going with Bugaboo Image/Red/Sparkle.  And my image is the adorable Reindeer Blocks at Bugaboo Stamps.  I always try to go simple with my Christmas cards, for easier shipping, so just a little twine and sequins for the sparkle part of the bingo.  So join in this week if you can!

This meets the following challenges: Christmas at Sweet Stampin: Anything Goes Christmas, Craftaholics R Us: Something Red, Crafty Creations: Anything Goes, The Merry Christmas Challenge: Anything Christmas/Option of Reindeer, and 2 Crafty Critter Crazies: Anything with a Critter.

Softball Valentine Card with Fred She Said

Hello and Happy Sunday!  I got another Valentine card done - this one for kiddo!  She plays softball and I personalize the girls' cards as much as possible.  And this image is just perfect for her!

This image is from Fred, She Said Design called Catch Your Heart, and I went with black and pink since that's the color of her glove.  It's a little busy with the background and jazzed up with the sequins, to hopefully make it a little more feminine.  Fred, She Said is a sponsor for the current Corrosive Challenge which is Anything Goes.  The challenge is all month so you have plenty of time to play along.

Just a couple more Valentine's to make and then on to....well, I'll find something to work on!  Thanks for stopping by.

This meets the following challenges: Brown Sugar: Valentine's Day, Cut it Up: Layers of Love, Cardz 4 Galz: Think Pink, Cardz TV Challenge #33: Anything Goes, and Dragonfly Journeys: Love.

Softball Girl Birthday Z Fold Card

Hello and happy Hump Day!  At Catch the Bug Challenge Blog, we celebrate just about everything under the sun, and I'm sharing a card for Girls and Women in Sports Day (February 8th).  I'll be honest, I tried soccer when I was young, but I've never been athletic.  Then I ran my first marathon in 2016, only to have that be the straw that broke the camels back - literally, 5 months later I was having surgery for a broken back (I have a great titanium cage keeping me mobile).

Anyway, this is Beans birthday card (not until May - but I like working ahead) featuring Bugaboo Stamps Kidz Girl Baseball Dog - and of course I colored the ball yellow since Bean is in softball.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit and the numbers are from Cricut Cart Plantin Schoolbook with shadow.
And Yay! Another fancy fold.  This is called a Z-fold at Splitcoaststampers.  So the girls cards are done for this year, and both are awesome folds.  I know the background paper seems a little busy, and I do wish I would have went with a smaller print or polka dots or something, but what's done is done.

So that's my share for the day.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

This meets the following challenges: Digi Choosday: Anything Goes, Shopping Our Stash: Olympics (Any Sport - Softball, and everything from my stash), Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes, and Always Fun Challeges: Anything Goes.

Birthday Box Card

Hello and hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  Today I'm sharing a card for my baby who is turning 6 years old this week!  I can't believe how fast time flies by.  Something I think about the future, my girls going off to college, and me not know what to do with myself!  We have a routine, even if busy and tiresome, I'm not looking forward to the day that routine goes away.

Anyway, I'm also sharing this for this weeks Catch the Bug Challenge: Anything Goes.  Always a favorite and anyone can join in!  My stamp is a cutie from Bugaboo Stamps: Kidz Birthday Girl.
And look!  I made a fancy fold - found on Pinterest, and followed it to a site that gave measurements in inches.  Yeah, I wanted to make something different for the girls cards this year.  Hopefully I'll come up with something cool for Bean's card in May.
The inside!  The die cuts are from Cricut cart Plantin Schoolbook, and the stamped sentiments are from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin.  So join in if you can!!

This meets the following challenges: Crafting with Friends: Anything Goes, Crafty Catz: One for the Girls, Polkadoodles: Anything Goes, Digi Choosday: Anything Goes, and Cute Card Thursday: Anything Goes.

Cricut Animal Kingdom Monkey Valentine

Hello and happy Friday! Just a quick share today of Little Bit's Valentine card.  She has lots of nicknames, including Monkey.  That child will jump off anything, is constantly getting hurt, and I'm now a photoshop pro, editing out black eyes and swollen frontal lobes!

I'm using Cricut Cart Animal Kingdom for the adorable monkey.  One of my personal challenges this year is to go through most of my Cricut carts and create something!  So far I have realized I really miss my machine, and I've been thoroughly enjoying cutting, pasting, and coming up with ideas.  Anyway, the sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit.

I'm sure the eyes seem overpowering, but I only had little and big googly eyes - no medium. And both Bit and Bean have large eyes, so I went with large.  That's it for me - catching a cold and need to rest.

This meets the following challenges:  Bitten by the Bug: Valentine's for Child, CardzTV: Challenge 32: Anything Goes, 2 Crafter Critter Crazies: Anything With a Critter on it, Aud Sentiments: Valentine or Love Sentiment, and Crafting with an Attitude: Anything Goes.
