Hello. Today I'm back with more cards featuring From the Heart Stamps (also known as Designed 2 Delight).
On each of these, I was able to use up the extras from Stampin' Up paper pumpkin kits - again, using what I've got. So on these cards, I have doilies, sequins, die cuts, and sentiment stamps from SU.
I'm also rediscovering all my designer papers. I love handmade backgrounds, but there is so much gorgeous paper out there and I have a closet full!
I watched a tutorial on how to shade the jar using Copics - I think I did ok.
So that's it for today. I've been enjoying looking through all my digi stamps and using my stash. I feel like it's a challenge and an adventure!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
My cards meet the following challenges: Crafting Happiness: Anything Goes with Optional Flowers, Cupcake Inspirations: Mother's Day, A Gem of a Challenge: Anything Goes, and Creative Inspiration: Anything Goes.
Hello and happy Tuesday. It's warming up nicely where I'm at and everything is in bloom (read: I've got major allergies going on!).
Anyway, today I would like to share a couple of cards using Bugaboo images (no longer in business):
I have some older cards that I'm not overly fond of, but the backgrounds are good and I didn't want to just toss them. So I'm making "new" cards using the backgrounds.
I really do wonder sometimes "what the heck was I thinking??" when looking at some of my creations. But I do like these two better than the originals. Again, both feature a Bugaboo image - I just love Bugaboo and miss them dearly.
Thank you for taking a look and have a great week!
These meet the following challenges: Jan's Digi Stamps: Anything Goes, Use Your Suff: Layers, We Love Stamping: Anything Goes w/option of Animal, and A Gem of a Challenges: Anything Goes.
Hello and happy Friday! Another week down and hopefully a relaxing weekend to come.
Today I'm sharing a couple of cards featuring From the Heart Stamps (aka Designed 2 Delight). The artist is no longer with us, but I always loved her talent and recently printed a few of her images that I haven't yet used.
This one features Bullfrogs and Butterflies. I was unsure of the direction of this but in the end, I think it worked out ok. Ever have an idea that just goes off the rails? Well, this is that card.
I also made a card for my Mom - a just because I love her type of card. She really is my biggest fan. Anyway, the butterfly is from a FTH set, as an extra to the main image. I used up a few extras from past Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kits - again, trying to use what I've got. I'm also going through a few paper packs that have been stored for years in an effort to renew my creativity.
That's all from me for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.
This meets the following challenges: Creative Fingers: Anything Goes, Alphabet Challenge: XOXO, Crafty Animals: Anything with a Critter, and Die Cut Divas: Anything with a Die Cut (both cards).
Hello! I can't believe it's already March! Well, I'm still on a mission to create with what I've got, so today I'm sharing cards made with a stamp set that I purchased long ago and never touched.
I'm using Stampin' Up's Nature Walk set for all three, with different styles.
I went with a museum/antique sort of feel on this one. The layout is My Favorite Things MFTWSC 470.
And finally, my favorite of the three. It's been super cold here and I can't wait to get out in my garden. We have a lot of honey bees that we support and I can't wait for their return.
Thank you taking a look at my latest post. I appreciate your visit!
My cards meet the following challenges: A Perfect Time to Craft: Always Anything Goes, Classic Design Challenge: Anything Goes, Crafts Galore Encore: Anything Goes, and Digi Choosday: Anything Goes.
Hello and happy Monday. So, I've been working on using what I've got. Well, I've got a few Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kits that need some attention. I finally finished this kit! I've posted a few other cards using this kit, and these are the final four.
These two use Bugaboo images. The Bugaboo store is no longer open, but I'm still a big fan. This one uses My Favorite Things Birthday Bears, and I added a cake from the stamp set.
This final one features a critter from Stampin' Up's Special Someone set. On all of these, I inked the backgrounds, added grass, colored up images and popped them up.
Hopefully I'll continue going through my stash of new-to-me items and a main goal is to actually send out the cards!
Thank you for taking a look at my latest creation. Have a great week.
These meet the following challenges: Gem of a Challenge: Anything Goes, Critter Crazy: Anything Goes with a Critter, A Perfect Time to Craft: Anything Goes, Crafty Animals: Anything with an Animal, and Mirtillamente: Polar Bears.
Hello. This weekend was definitely relaxing so I managed to make a few cards. I wanted to enter a new to me challenge, using their free digi stamp.
So I recently rediscovered Scribbles by Sandy, so I'm featuring the latest Penguin stamp for their Penguin Pals challenge.
I made a couple of these, trying to get a jump start on Christmas cards since last year I didn't have enough. I put Ranger ink on my Cuttlebug embossing folder - anyone still have a Cuttlebug out there - to make for the debossing effect (I could be completely wrong on that term). The penguin was colored and cut out. Card is completely flat for easy mailing.
So I'm now up to three cards for Christmas!!
That's it for today. Have a wonderful Monday and thank you for stopping by.
