Christmas Snowman card

Hello!  It's officially December.  I really don't understand how time works.  I thought I had a handle on the whole clock and calendar thing, but then all of a sudden, a month has vanished and it's time to get ready for my favorite holiday!

So today I'm here to share a card for the latest challenge at Papercraft Business Challenge: Anything Goes with the option of Christmas.

I'm featuring an image from Doodle Pantry - unfortunately they have closed up shop.  And the sentiment is from a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin set.  Rather simple layout with a little gloss and sequins for added interest.

So join in this month is you get a chance.  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Popcorn Celebration Birthday card

Hello again and Happy Thursday!  Today I'm sharing a card made for my little cousin's 40th!  What a great age.

I used the Simon Says Stamps I Chews You Kit and thought this would be great for my movie loving cousin, along with some movie tickets.  I put a little yellow ink behind the popcorn, the sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit, and the numbers are from a Cuttlebug numbers die set.  Just a quick post today - thank you for taking a look!

This meets the following challenges: Simon Says: Anything Goes, Crafty Creations: Anything Goes, Digi Choosday: Anything Goes, and Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes.

Monochrome Sunbonnet Christmas Girl

Hello and Happy Hump Day!!  Today I'm sharing a "new release" from Bugaboo Stamps in my Christmas card:

I thought I'd go monochrome which I haven't done in forever.  The white panel was originally left white but I thought it was too bright so I did something like the smooshing technique, using a copic refill and alcohol.  I put drops of color and drops of alcohol on acetate, and since it was so runny, instead of flipping the acetate onto the cardstock, I flipped the cardstock onto the acetate in the areas I wanted color - clear as mud?  Either way, I was happy with the outcome.

I added lots of glossy goodness to the snowball but left everything else rather plain.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit.  Oh, and this cute Bugaboo Image is Sunbonnet Winter.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a wonderful week.
