Hello and wow, it's already June! I missed most of May, in bed with a respiratory infection, but I hear that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger....so I should be like a super hero by now!
Today I would like to share a card using paper from 2006 (yes, the year 2006) for the Papercraft Business Challenge #7 Anything Goes with the option of using your oldest paper.
I remember buying this paper from Hobby Lobby thinking it was the BEST deal ever! I used a 40% off coupon, and the stack was around an inch thick, and the papers were 12" by 12". Twelve years later and I still have this stack! It took me a while to stop looking for quantity. There's no way I could ever use up an entire 12" stack, and I don't scrapbook. I'm still a paper hoarder but now I purchase the smaller size stacks and I actually make an effort to use them up.
So that's my story of my first paper purchase! The image is a From The Heart Stamp - by Faith who is no longer with us (also known as Designed 2 Delight Stamps). She was truly talented.
So you have all month to join in the Papercraft Business Challenge! This also meets the following challenges: Digi Choosday: Anything Goes, Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes, and Crafting From the Heart: Anything Goes.

Sorry to hear you haven't been well Lola. I had a giggle at your paper story. I LOVE paper and every time I see a pack, I just KNOW I HAVE TO HAVE IT!!! I haven't matured enough to buy smaller packs, and still go for 12 x 12 though.
LOVE your card! What a fun image and sentiment, and fabulous paper!! Great design too!
Thanks for sharing your lovely card with us at Digi Choosday
