Monochrome Sunbonnet Christmas Girl

Hello and Happy Hump Day!!  Today I'm sharing a "new release" from Bugaboo Stamps in my Christmas card:

I thought I'd go monochrome which I haven't done in forever.  The white panel was originally left white but I thought it was too bright so I did something like the smooshing technique, using a copic refill and alcohol.  I put drops of color and drops of alcohol on acetate, and since it was so runny, instead of flipping the acetate onto the cardstock, I flipped the cardstock onto the acetate in the areas I wanted color - clear as mud?  Either way, I was happy with the outcome.

I added lots of glossy goodness to the snowball but left everything else rather plain.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit.  Oh, and this cute Bugaboo Image is Sunbonnet Winter.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a wonderful week.

This meets the following challenges: Sweet Stampin Christmas: Anything Goes ChristmasSisterhood of Crafters: Use Stitched Dies, Crafty Sentiments Designs: Anything Goes, The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge: Anything Christmas goes, and Always Fun Challenges: Anything Goes.
