Peacock Thanks with Doodle Pantry

Hello all and happy Wednesday!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for Sprout's Zoo Camp teacher.  I'm featuring a pre-colored image from Doodle Pantry's Feathery Friends set.
Sprout is having a wonderful time in this camp and learning all sorts of fun facts.  Also, this will enter this month's Doodle Pantry's Ants in my Pantry Digital Challenge.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wow! Bright, bold, fun! Lucky zoo camp leader! And so sweet of you to think of Bean's leader :) We were just at the zoo last week - oh my, in these south florida temps, it was just a bit much!

Hi Lola! :)

You had asked me a question on my blog and I don't have your e-mail, so this is how I'm going to reply to it:

For the watercolor paper, I HAVE used non-watercolor type paper before, but it's not the weight of the paper that matters, it's the properties that IN the paper that matters to make the watercoloring look how you want. Some people don't mind, but when I want my watercolor to "run" a bit and sit ON TOP of the paper for a bit longer, then I like to use the watercolor paper. If you use regular paper, the water tends to soak into it and sometimes can warp your paper too much because you are adding LOTS of water on it. (You may want to do a test on both to see what you prefer for whatever method you are using...not all paper is the same.)

Hope this has helped and thanks for your kind comment about my design! :) HUGS
