Being Inspired

Hello all. Today I have two projects to share. What I love about Blogs: the inspiration. The hard part is remembering it all! Well, I found THIS little box over at Sandy's Blog and knew I wanted to make one too!
This is cut using Tags Bags Boxes & More Cricut cart at 8.5" on blackout. The DP is Paper Studio's Oops-A Daisy. BTW, I did use Multi-Cut (2) to make sure it cut through completely. I don't have the Gypsy or the software, so I made my little window using punches and acetate. Super easy!
Can you see what's inside? Cookies from Honolulu - for Bean's teacher. Just a little gift from Hawaii. Anyway, thanks Sandy. I didn't even know there was such a cute box on this cart!!
Now, another "not a card" creation was inspired by this post at Schlosser Designs. She was kind enough to provide a PDF with the pattern and instructions and I thought it was perfect for fall.
The pumpkin took no time at all, but the stem took a little longer because I forgot how to do a blanket stitch. Basically, I watched TV while finishing this up...so maybe an hour total.
Of course, this is going in my living room to "pretty it up" a bit, but I'm sure when I get home today, Bean will be playing a game of ball with my lovely creation! Yup, I can see the future!

Oh Lola, I wish you could see the BIG smile on my face. Very few people give ME a SHOUT out... thank you so much. AND your box turned out soooooo adorable, aren't those little boxes just too fun to make. There is no doubt that Bean's teacher is going to love it and the cookies from Honolulu. AND your little pumpkin is too cute, lol, I can see Bean and her Daddy playing catch with your little pumpkin, it's amazing how us mom's can see the future. Thank you again my friend. hugs
