Rustic Reindeer Bugaboo Stamp Christmas Cards

Hello and wow, just a couple more days until Christmas.  I'm one of those who shops early, has all the presents wrapped and cards out in the mail.  This year, well, not so much has been accomplished.  This will be the first year since I can remember that I will not be sending out cards to my entire list.

I did manage to make a few reindeer cards for the Catch the Bug Holiday Chaos Photo Challenge:

I'm featuring the reindeer from Bugaboo Stamps Christmas Trio Block.  I was inspired by a card on Instagram I saw quite a while back, but I don't know how to find it again to give proper credit.  I felt the design was just perfect and tried my best to recreate what I remembered.

I used a stencil and white ink on kraft - trying to be a little more adventurous with my backgrounds, a Spellbinder flourish die, and papers from Stampin Up.  I think they have a bit of a rustic look to them.

Anyway, there is still plenty of time to enter all the challenges at Catch the Bug Blog!

Thank you for taking a peek at my cards today and have a wonderful week!

This meets the following challenges: 2 Crafty Critter Crazies: Anything Goes with a Critter, Crafty Animals: Anything with an Animal, Die Cut Divas: Anything Goes with Dies (Cuttlebug used), and Always Fun: Christmas.

Gardening Bunny for Easter

Hello all and wow we are already in April!  I don't know about you, but staying home from work has NOT increased my opportunity to craft.  If anything, I now have TWO full time jobs: my regular job and my new homeschool teaching position.  On top of that, my minions tend to eat 3 - 4 times a day (read: lots of dishes), and they require attention and exercise.

Anyway, on to today's share:
This adorable Garden Spring Bunny was a recent Friday Freebie at Bugaboo stamps.  I'm sorry I didn't announce this earlier - hopefully enough people were able to take advantage of this cutie.  I went a little crazy with my papers, since my current goal is to use what I have....especially since I'm forced to NOT shop.
The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes set and I'm using a variety of different dies.  I added just a touch of glaze and sequins.  Even with the image popped up, this is still rather flat for easy mailing.

That is all for now.  Hope all is well!  Thank you for taking a look at my latest creation.

This meets the following challenges:  Always Fun Challenges: Easter, Use Your Stuff: Easter, Cuttlebug Mania: Easter, and Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes.

Hanging Lights Christmas Card

Hello and I'm back with another last minute Christmas card.  I made a few of these and added a bit of glitter cardstock to fancy it up a bit.  The fancy die is from Spellbinders.

The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit, heat embossed.  I'm not overly happy with the embossing, but I tried.  I used to love heat embossing, but I guess I just sort of stopped doing it and now I'm a bit rusty with this technique.  Oh well.

That's it.  Just a quick share today.  Thank you for taking a look.

This meets the following challenges:  Watercooler Wednesday: Anything Goes, Cuttlebug Mania: Lights (Using my Cuttlebug for all my diecuts), Little Red Wagon: Any Winter Holiday Goes, and House-Mouse & Friends: Anything Goes with option of Christmas.

  Thank you Watercooler Wednesday!!

Thank you Cuttlebug Mania!

Super Quick Gift Idea

Hello and wow it's already November.  I think about how fast time is going by every time I make a post - especially since lately my posts have been so far and few between.  But still, it's crazy to think we will be enjoying turkey and red chili soon.  Yes, it's a southwest thing.  You got to smother everything in either red or green.

For now, I'm sharing a super quick gift idea for the latest Papercraft Business Challenge: Gift Giving.

When I think about giving gifts, I usually think of teachers.  And the mailman.  My kids love the mailman and like making him presents for the holidays.  Anyway, since I'm always running behind on just about everything, I require really quick gift creations.

This little box, an Art-C die from Michaels, fits a gift card and a handful of kisses chocolates.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up's Itty Bitty Banners and some Spellbinders dies.  These come together in 5 to 10 minutes and are pretty darn cute.  Of course they can be way more elaborate and decorated than my belly band and twine.  But I did want to show that making something from the heart doesn't have to take all night.

So that's it from me today.  Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

Relax Sloth Card

Hello all.  Today starts the latest Corrosive Challenge: Anything Goes.

I'm featuring I'm Hung Up on You from Cute as a Button.  Lately, I've really enjoyed looking at pictures of these animals with a perpetual smile.
All the other pieces are from the Spellbinders July 2017 card kit.  I've just discovered these kits and purchased an older set on sale to see what it entails.  It really was full of goodies and I have ordered a couple more kits since then.  So the dies for the flowers and leaves, the little "relax" wooden sentiment, the papers, and the little yellow dots are from the set.

Thanks for taking a look and join in this month at Corrosive Challenges if you get a chance.  Have a wonderful day!

This meets the following challenges:  A Gem of a Challenges: Anything Goes, Cut It Up: Critters (must include die cut/s), Polkadoodles: Anything Goes, and Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes.
