Bugaboo Pup and Elephant fun

 Hello and happy Tuesday.  It's warming up nicely where I'm at and everything is in bloom (read: I've got major allergies going on!).

Anyway, today I would like to share a couple of cards using Bugaboo images (no longer in business):

I have some older cards that I'm not overly fond of, but the backgrounds are good and I didn't want to just toss them.  So I'm making "new" cards using the backgrounds.

I really do wonder sometimes "what the heck was I thinking??" when looking at some of my creations.  But I do like these two better than the originals.  Again, both feature a Bugaboo image - I just love Bugaboo and miss them dearly.

Sewn Paper Pumpkin Cards

 Hello and happy Monday.  So, I've been working on using what I've got.  Well, I've got a few Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kits that need some attention.  I finally finished this kit!  I've posted a few other cards using this kit, and these are the final four.

These two use Bugaboo images.  The Bugaboo store is no longer open, but I'm still a big fan.

This one uses My Favorite Things Birthday Bears, and I added a cake from the stamp set.

This final one features a critter from Stampin' Up's Special Someone set.  On all of these, I inked the backgrounds, added grass, colored up images and popped them up.

Hopefully I'll continue going through my stash of new-to-me items and a main goal is to actually send out the cards!

 Hello and happy Friday!  Today I'm sharing a card for the latest Catch the Bug Stella Says Sketch Challenge.

 I like sketches since they are a great jumping off point for me.  I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Wishing You Well digi plus sentiment.  So again, just a short post.  The sketch challenge is through June 12 so there's still another week+ to enter.

Colorful Deacon Cake Birthday card

 Hello!  A quick post - late - to let you know about the latest Bugaboo Stamps freebie.  If you act fast, you can get this adorable Deacon image at Catch The Bug Blog absolutely free (link in the post).

I actually really like this line of images from Bugaboo Stamps.  I went with lots of colors on this one with a simple layout.  The sentiment is Simple Strips Birthday from Taylored Expressions.

Sympathy Flower Watering Can card

 Hello and happy Monday.  Today I'm sharing a card for the latest Anything Goes Catch the Bug challenge.  The challenge is now every other Saturday which gives you two weeks to enter!

My card features Flower Watering Can from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Copics, and the sentiment is from a Stampin' Up's Paper Pumpkin kit.  Simple design, considering the type of card.  I do struggle with sympathy cards and usually purchase something instead, but I'm giving it a go.

I've added a bit of sewing as well as touches of glaze.  Simple layout.  Monochromatic.

Ice Cream Cone Stack Birthday Card

 Hello.  I know it's already March but I just thought of a new years resolution - actually post my creations online!  So let's see how I do from here on out.

Today I'm sharing a card for the latest Catch the Bug challenge: Anything Goes.  Yes, this challenge is just about over, but for those of you who are quick or who have something already ready, please join in!

Either way, I want to share this since I thought the image, Sweet Treats Set from Bugaboo Stamps, is just adorable.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up's Itty Bitty Banners set, heat embossed onto brown cardstock.  I actually pulled out my sewing machine for this one.

 I added a touch of glaze and popped up the fussy cut image for a little dimension.  The colors are quite bland so I had to throw in some strawberry (or raspberry) ice cream for a bit of pop.

My Way Day with Chocolate Cake card

 Hello and happy Hump Day!  Today is My Way Day and if I can have it MY way, I would have my cake and eat it too.

So today I'm sharing a card featuring the Birthday Cake $1 Digi from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with copics.  I created the circle with a stencil and distress inks, fussy cut my image, and popped it up for a bit of dimension.  The sentiment is from a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin kit.  Super simple format.

One in a Melon Watermelon Card

 Hello and welcome February!  Today I would like to share a card for the current Catch the Bug Blog challenge: Anything Goes.

I just adore this image and finally got a chance to use it.  This features the image from  Bugaboo Stamps You're One in a Melon.  Simple layout with the copic colored image popped up and a touch of glaze on some of the seeds.

Hedgehog Birthday Card

 Hello and happy new year!

I'm starting this year off with a card for the 11th Annual Bugaboo Stamps Birthday Bash at Catch the Bug blog!  All week long, there are challenges and lots of inspiration at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.

Today's challenge is Bingo!  My bingo is Die Cut/Bugaboo Image/3 layers.  I colored my Bugaboo Stamps Birthday Hedgie using Copics and fussy cut.  My card is completely flat - something I'm going for this year to make my cards post office friendly.  I didn't add too much more other than a sentiment from Stampin Up's Special Someone set - using my Misti mini.  Thought I would throw that in there since I got one for Christmas!  Nifty little tool indeed.

Rustic Reindeer Bugaboo Stamp Christmas Cards

 Hello and wow, just a couple more days until Christmas.  I'm one of those who shops early, has all the presents wrapped and cards out in the mail.  This year, well, not so much has been accomplished.  This will be the first year since I can remember that I will not be sending out cards to my entire list.

I did manage to make a few reindeer cards for the Catch the Bug Holiday Chaos Photo Challenge:

 I'm featuring the reindeer from Bugaboo Stamps Christmas Trio Block.  I was inspired by a card on Instagram I saw quite a while back, but I don't know how to find it again to give proper credit.  I felt the design was just perfect and tried my best to recreate what I remembered.

 I used a stencil and white ink on kraft - trying to be a little more adventurous with my backgrounds, a Spellbinder flourish die, and papers from Stampin Up.  I think they have a bit of a rustic look to them.

Anyway, there is still plenty of time to enter all the challenges at Catch the Bug Blog!

Reindeer Tags

 Hello all!  This week is Holiday Chaos at Catch the Bug blog.  So all week long there will be challenges and lots of prizes.  I'm a little late to the party, but today I'm sharing a tag for Monday's ABC challenge (Anything But a Card).

I don't usually like ABC's but I was actually in need of a couple tags for gifts.  My tags aren't overly creative and I adore those who can put together tags that are like a gift all in itself...but I tried.

I'm featuring the reindeer from Bugaboo Stamps Cute Christmas Tag Set.  Using a couple dies, pop dots, wiggle eyes, and twine, I think these came out ok.  And this year, I'm blessing everyone with lotion!  I don't know about you, but with all the hand washing and extra dishes, the skin on my hands is dry and looking much older than usual - so hopefully my recipients appreciate it as well.

Turtle Thanksgiving Card

Bugaboo Teddy Bear Birthday Card

 Hello and happy Saturday!  No big plans this weekend, pretty much like most of 2020 since March, but that's ok.  Actually, I feel like I'm busier now than I ever was before so I doubt I will have a quiet craft filled day.

Anyway, I'm just here to share a card for the current Catch the Bug challenge: Anything Goes.

I think these Teddy Bears from Bugaboo Stamps are just too adorable.  This is supposed to be a masculine/little boy card, even with the bit of sparkle in the paper.

 I added a birthday die cut sentiment inside and added touches of glaze to noses and bugs.

Pup Birthday Balloons Watercolor card

 Hello all.  Today I'm sharing an older yet still much loved Bugaboo Stamp at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.  I thought it was perfect for my brother's birthday.

 

This features Bugaboo Stamp's Pup Balloons.  I added 51 to the center balloon (how old he's turning) and a little glaze.  The background is watercolored and I did a bit better job of flicking some paint on for dimension.  I really like that technique and I believe this is my first successful attempt.

Dad Grillin Father's Day Card

Hello and welcome to June!  I feel like I have missed a lot of time and skipped straight to summer.  I guess with the way things are, it's ok to skip a few days here and there and just move on to 2021.  But for today, I'm sharing a card for the latest Papercraft Business Challenge: Father's Day:

There are lots of images out there but I went with Bugaboo Stamps A Kids View Barbeque since it most closely relates to a dad in my life.

I went really simple and avoided sequins :)  The most I added was a bit of sparkle to the grilling utensils.  The banner and star are popped up, but the rest of the card is flat.  I tried to be as simple as possible I guess as my way of going masculine.

Mother's Day Ladybugs and Flowers Fancy Fold

Hello and welcome to May!  I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy.

Today I'm here to share a card for the latest Papercraft Business Challenge: Anything Goes.  Always an easy one!

I'm featuring Ladybug Floral Collage from Bugaboo stamps along with a sentiment from a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin kit.  I haven't used kraft in a long time, but I think it works.  I added a few swirly dies and gems for fun - and some glaze that you can't see in the photo.

Also, I managed another fancy fold from CardzTV.  Her videos are straight forward and easy to do.  I know it looks a little crooked in the photo, but it's actually straight and holds up well.

Gardening Bunny for Easter

Hello all and wow we are already in April!  I don't know about you, but staying home from work has NOT increased my opportunity to craft.  If anything, I now have TWO full time jobs: my regular job and my new homeschool teaching position.  On top of that, my minions tend to eat 3 - 4 times a day (read: lots of dishes), and they require attention and exercise.

Anyway, on to today's share:

This adorable Garden Spring Bunny was a recent Friday Freebie at Bugaboo stamps.  I'm sorry I didn't announce this earlier - hopefully enough people were able to take advantage of this cutie.  I went a little crazy with my papers, since my current goal is to use what I have....especially since I'm forced to NOT shop.

The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes set and I'm using a variety of different dies.  I added just a touch of glaze and sequins.  Even with the image popped up, this is still rather flat for easy mailing.

Bear Balloon Double Point Fold card

Hello and Happy St. Patrick's Day!!  Of course the little Leprechaun paid us a visit, made a bit of a mess, and left some gold coins behind.

Today at Catch the Bug Blog is new release day.

So this little cute balloon bear is now available at the Bugaboo Stamps shop.  I've been inspired lately by CardzTV and all the fancy fold videos Mary has been posting.

So I followed along with her Double Point Fold card to make my fancy fold.  I encourage you to see her video to fully understand how this card unfolds.  The white area on the polka dot paper is the writing area.

The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes set, and I actually pulled out an embossing folder for the dots texture.  So that's it from me today.  Don't forget to wear a bit o' green!

Kidz Bella Birthday card

Hello and welcome Saturday....or Tuesday (oops).  The first Saturday of each month at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog is Anything Goes!  Always an easy challenge.

I've been working on using up past Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kits and this is yet another card very similar to THIS CARD.  This one features Bugaboo Stamps Kidz Bella Love.  I really like the Kidz line at Bugaboo.

I added a touch of glaze to this one (her heart on her shirt).  These cards are actually smaller than an A2 size, so in completing this kit, I'm picking an easy image to go along with the speech bubble.  Hopefully I can finish off the other 4 cards soon.
