Easter Daffodils Card

Hello and happy hump day.  With the days being longer, it has me looking forward to spring.  I'm already clearing up my flower gardens and all my bulbs are popping up.  I live in a desert with lots of sand, but my bulbs manage to flourish each year, producing new "baby" bulbs.  Every couple of years, I have to thin them out and either find a new spot or give them away.

Some of my early blooms are daffodils which inspired this Easter card.

I've used Cricut cart Walk in my Garden and the sentiment is Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes.  This is also in attempt at using my Cricut more often this year - and I feel I'm off to a pretty good start, plus I wanted to enter this weeks Bitten by the Bug challenge: Easter.  So that's it for today.  Thank you for stopping by!

This also meets the following challenges: Cardztv: Anything Goes, Shopping Our Stash: Here Comes Peter Cottontail, and Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes.

Bug Hug

I should have been working on my final last night...but stress makes me want to escape! So here's my creation:
For this card, I used the adorable Bugaboo digistamp, colored with copics and bics, the row of flowers are from Walk in My Garden Cricut cart cut at 1.5" (using Border), g glitter glue on the centers (but it doesn't show well), the sentiment is from Pink Cat Studios (a freebie), DCWV Glitter Mat Stack DP, ribbon.
I thought she was too cute. I've been into kid stamps lately. I guess because they all remind me of Bean...not that she has wings or anything :)
This meets the following challenges:

We are back with The Character Cafe after a month "vacation." So to start off, we are having a BLOG HOP!! Hops are lots of fun and there's a great prize at the end. So this hop is to show off the new DT members as well as us returning DT members AND to show off the new digi releases this month.

Almost Done!

Still dealing with a sick little girl but today she's back at school. I also asked the teacher about the bumble bee song, so she was kind enough to write down the words for us.

So I'm still working on my Cards for Soldiers. Keeping with the flower theme, and wanting to use my Walk In My Garden cart, I came up with this.
I also made ten of these, since they are so simple. They all have different color backgrounds, but each features some type of flower. The sentiment is popped up on 3D dots. I'm almost at 50 cards!!

Another One for Mother's Day

My little girl has been sick the past few days, so I'm just exhausted! I did manage to finish these last night. They are made with the Walk in My Garden cart. Not only that, but they were all made using scraps only! I'm not one to waste paper, so I try to use up every little bit...that's why all the background papers are different colors. So I've made 10 of these for Cards for Soldiers.

Birthday Caterpillar

This little guy is cut from the Walk in My Garden cart on my Cricut. He's really cute...but I'm not sure about the card. It seems a little "busy." Have you ever started a project and then get to a point where you have no idea what you want to accomplish? Well, that's this card.

So this is NOT my favorite creation. I'm not even sure what to do with it.

He's got lots of dimension, sewing, bling and everything...maybe it was just too much?

Snail Mail

My favorite tool in card making is my Cricut Expressions machine. One of the first carts I got was Walk In My Garden, and I mainly got it for the flowers. Last night I took another peek at it and decided to use the snail. I thought "she" came out great. You know how sometimes you're happy with a creation and sometimes you're REALLY happy? Well, I'm REALLY happy about this one. Hmmm...who to send it to...?
I think I cut her at 3" but I could be wrong on that one. I did the shift for the shell in DP and sewed it in place. The sign is also from the WIMG cart. Added brads, flowers, ink to shade, and handcut the grass.
