Softball Girl Birthday Z Fold Card

Hello and happy Hump Day!  At Catch the Bug Challenge Blog, we celebrate just about everything under the sun, and I'm sharing a card for Girls and Women in Sports Day (February 8th).  I'll be honest, I tried soccer when I was young, but I've never been athletic.  Then I ran my first marathon in 2016, only to have that be the straw that broke the camels back - literally, 5 months later I was having surgery for a broken back (I have a great titanium cage keeping me mobile).

Anyway, this is Beans birthday card (not until May - but I like working ahead) featuring Bugaboo Stamps Kidz Girl Baseball Dog - and of course I colored the ball yellow since Bean is in softball.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit and the numbers are from Cricut Cart Plantin Schoolbook with shadow.
And Yay! Another fancy fold.  This is called a Z-fold at Splitcoaststampers.  So the girls cards are done for this year, and both are awesome folds.  I know the background paper seems a little busy, and I do wish I would have went with a smaller print or polka dots or something, but what's done is done.

So that's my share for the day.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

This meets the following challenges: Digi Choosday: Anything Goes, Shopping Our Stash: Olympics (Any Sport - Softball, and everything from my stash), Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes, and Always Fun Challeges: Anything Goes.

Cupcake Girl

Hello all!  We were blessed with a late vacation to Great Wolf Lodge, and if you have never been to one, you MUST take a look.  It's a water resort that is much more than just a water park.  Needless to say, the girls were thrilled...and exhausted!  Me too, but in a good way with great memories.

Anyway, I'm here sharing a card for the latest Catch the Bug Blog challenge: Bingo (click on link for bingo card):
I'm going with Sentiment/Sparkle/Bugaboo Image.  And the Bugaboo image I am featuring is from Birthday Girl Set.  The layout is from Splitcoaststampers (297) and the sentiment is from a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin kit.  I haven't used one of their layouts in forever but sometimes, they are such a great starting point when I'm stuck.  So I hope you will join along if you get a chance this week!  Thanks so much for stopping by.

This meets the following challenges: Stamping Sensations: Photo (color) challengeCrafting With Friends: Anything Goes, and Jo's Scrap Shack: Anything Goes.

Girl with Heart Balloons

Hello all and Happy Tuesday!  I've been in bed for a couple weeks with a respiratory infection - and I'm still exhausted!!  But I'm here to share a card for this weeks challenge at Catch the Bug blog which is ANYTHING GOES!!
I did one of those die cut gate folds from Splitcoaststampers tutorial found here.  It closes with a tuck under the circle/heart.
The picture makes it look like the opening is crooked, but it was die cut and looks pretty good IRL.  I always like anything goes - since it makes it easier to make a card with a purpose.  This was obviously for Valentine's Day.
Another project for Valentine's Day are these little origami pockets for the girls' teachers.  I found the super simple folding instructions on Pinterest.  All of these feature Bugaboo Stamps' Make it Snappy Girl Valentines Day.  This image also comes without a sentiment so you can personalize with your own sentiment.  So join in this week if you can!!

Isn't that cool?  I just love that opening!  I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Heart Monster.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin.  That's about all for today - hoping for a relaxing weekend.  Thanks for stopping by and join in if you can.

This meets the following challenges: Crafting with Friends: Anything Goes, Making Memories Crafting: Valentine, and Simply Papercraft: Anything Goes.

Hello all and Happy Tuesday!  It's really happy for me because I've been SO sick the past couple of weeks, and I'm finally back to feeling good again.  So today I would like to share a card using Doodle Pantry's Tropical Drinks:
This is for my little cousin's birthday.  I could use a pretty drink myself!  And it's not even my birthday.  The layout is Splitcoaststampers SC24 and I decided to put the sentiment inside.  And just a shout out that the Doodle Pantry Blog challenge is still going on.  You can use any image but if you use a Doodle Pantry image, you receive a free set!

Moose Friends with Doodle Pantry

Hello all and Happy Hump Day!  So my uncle is 80 years old this year!  Considering everything in his life, that is quite the accomplishment.  He is a strong and caring man and I have the honor of calling him uncle.  The request was to send a card with a special memory:
I'm not really good with guy cards, but I think this image from Doodle Pantry's Moose Friends set is perfect!

Sentiment is Stampin' Up's Itty Bitty Banners, and the layout is SC 287.

Salty Snack Mice with Doodle Pantry

Hello all and Happy Saturday!  It's the first of the month, which means it's new release time at Doodle Pantry!  And in this release, there are more mice!  Yes, I'm a big fan of the mice collection!
We're big Ritz fans in my house.  Just can't get enough of these crackers.  This looks like me when I open a new pack.  I just sit back, relax, and take in the buttery goodness!  OK, enough of my snacking habits...The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Friendly Phrases, and the layout is SC277.
This set includes colored and black and white images, papers, sentiments, and look at the cutie with cheese!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get a chance to take a look at all the new releases!
