Spring Chickens Stencil Card Set

 Hello and happy January 2024!  It has been one heck of a busy life, but I guess that happens to all of us.

Today I would like to share a few cards made with Taylored Expressions Spring Chickens Stencil.

Now, I was not able to get the sentiment stamps that go along with this since it was sold out, so I had to make my own.

I used different colors of Ranger distress inks.

These multi step stencils are just the coolest.  I got a couple sets and once again, my new year goal is to use what I've got!

Sulky Rebel Polkadoodles Birthday Card

 Hello and happy Tuesday.  I'm here today to share a card for a special someone in my life.

The attitude on this girl is so perfect!  I created the background with ranger inks and attempted the acrylic splatter - again.  This time I think it worked out ok.  This cutie is Sulky Attitude Rebel from Polkadoodles.  They have great sales and I picked up a few of these a while back.  The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Whole Llama Love and the numbers are die cuts.

Hot Dog Birthday Cards

 Hello and happy 2023!  I'm hoping and praying for a pleasant and productive year, and hopefully one filled with crafty goodness.

Today I would like to share a couple of birthday cards using some "new" stamps and stencils.

Both cards feature Stampin' Up's Hot Dog set, colored up like a piebald wiener dog.  The sentiment on this one is from Taylored Expressions Simple Strips Birthday set.

Both cards have stenciled backgrounds from Taylored Expressions.  This year, I'm hoping to use "new" items I've had but haven't had the chance to delve into.

 Hello and happy Monday!!  Popping in to share a creation using a digi stamp I won a while back.

This card features Pony Flower by Hetty Clare.  I love blue daisies!  I created my plaid background using the Plaid Layering Stencil from Taylored Expressions, as well as the All About You sentiment and diecut from My Favorite Things.

Groovy Rory Retro Flower Child

 Hello and welcome July!

Today I'm sharing a card I made for last month's Corrosive Challenge.

My image is Rory Love and Peace Hippie by Colour of Love.  I thought she was just adorable.  I created my background is Taylored Expressions Dahlia Stencil with Ranger Inks.  The sentiment is diecut using Sizzix.  I cut each letter 3 times to make them thick.

 Hello and wow it's already the middle of the month.  I honestly don't know where the time goes.  Anyway, I'm here to share a card for the Anything Goes challenge at Corrosive Challenges.

This is a month long challenge that concludes at the end of this month.  I'm featuring Katy by LeAnns World.  Colored with copics.  The background is Faded Jeans distress ink, using Bubbly Stencil by Taylored Expressions.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Short & Sweet set.

Quirky Parrot

Hello and happy hump day!  Well, things have been busy but are settling down.  We have had a lot on our plate this past month and things are finally settling down and back to routine.  So to start back, I'm here with a reminder about the latest Corrosive Challenge: Anything Goes!

Cant Touch This Cactus Fiesta

Hello and happy Monday!  We are officially in August and kids everywhere are headed back to school.  I really freak out at how fast time passes.

But for today, I would like to share a card using some of my new Taylored Expressions goodies.

OK, technically, they're not new since I got them months ago, but this is my first time playing with the Can't Touch This stamps and coordinating dies.  Being from the southwest, I thought this would be a fun set to create with.  It's a rather simple card but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Sassy Fabulous Lady in Orange with Bugaboo Stamps

Hello and thank the Lord it's Friday.  It's been busy with so many celebrations, birthdays, annual check-ups, and such, that I look forward to the weekend....even though there is still much to be done even on days off.

Plus with the weather being so nice, I find myself wanting to get out and tend to my flowers and gardens....all will fall in place soon.

Oh, but let me share this weeks Bugaboo Stamps Freebie Friday!

Yes, you can pick up this lovely lady free all week long.  I love her sassy-ness.  And if you go to Catch the Bug, you can see this image used in so many different ways.  I just love to see how we all have different visions on how to use the same image.

Of course I added a bit of glaze on the eyes, lips, ring and skulls, and just a few gems.  The sentiment is from a Taylored Expressions Whole Llama Love stamp set that I haven't exactly had a chance to use till now.

Hip Hop Bunny

Hello and can you believe it's already March??  This month brings spring break and St. Patrick's day, so I need to get a couple of cards done and prepare for the Leprechaun.

As for my share today, I'm featuring a card for the Papercraft Business Challenge: Animals OR Anything Goes.

I was excited to use my new bunny stamps from Taylored Expressions - my first experience with this company, and it was quite positive.  Ordering was simple, shipping was pretty quick, and I got a little freebie as well.
