From the Heart Cupcake Flowers Catch a Bug cards

Hello.  Today I'm  back with more cards featuring From the Heart Stamps (also known as Designed 2 Delight).

On each of these, I was able to use up the extras from Stampin' Up paper pumpkin kits - again, using what I've got.  So on these cards, I have doilies, sequins, die cuts, and sentiment stamps from SU.

I'm also rediscovering all my designer papers.  I love handmade backgrounds, but there is so much gorgeous paper out there and I have a closet full!

I watched a tutorial on how to shade the jar using Copics - I think I did ok.

So that's it for today.  I've been enjoying looking through all my digi stamps and using my stash.  I feel like it's a challenge and an adventure!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

My cards meet the following challenges:  Crafting Happiness: Anything Goes with Optional Flowers, Cupcake Inspirations: Mother's Day, A Gem of a Challenge: Anything Goes, and Creative Inspiration: Anything Goes.

Kiss Me Bullfrog and From the Heart Stamps

Hello and happy Friday!  Another week down and hopefully a relaxing weekend to come.

Today I'm sharing a couple of cards featuring From the Heart Stamps (aka Designed 2 Delight).  The artist is no longer with us, but I always loved her talent and recently printed a few of her images that I haven't yet used.

This one features Bullfrogs and Butterflies.  I was unsure of the direction of this but in the end, I think it worked out ok.  Ever have an idea that just goes off the rails?  Well, this is that card.

I also made a card for my Mom - a just because I love her type of card.  She really is my biggest fan.  Anyway, the butterfly is from a FTH set, as an extra to the main image.  I used up a few extras from past Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kits - again, trying to use what I've got.  I'm also going through a few paper packs that have been stored for years in an effort to renew my creativity.

That's all from me for now.  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

This meets the following challenges: Creative Fingers: Anything Goes, Alphabet Challenge: XOXO, Crafty Animals: Anything with a Critter, and Die Cut Divas: Anything with a Die Cut (both cards).

Cup of Coffee in Orange

Hello and hope everyone is well.  I've been home a lot lately and you would think that means more crafting time, but honestly, I haven't been inspired.  I check out other people's blogs and think "that's wonderful!! I'm going to make a card too!"  But then it just doesn't happen.

I did start this a couple weeks back and decided it had to be finished.  Plus, it's a reminder of the current Anything Goes challenge at Corrosive Challenge Blog!!

I'm featuring the I Luv Coffee stamp set from Ikes Art.  Basically I'm taking the same layout as another card but changing it up a bit.  I've added a copic refill smooshed background, and a paper pieced image.  The sentiment is from From the Heart Stamps.

I popped up the white frame and the cup for a bit of dimension.  Other than that, this is rather CAS and simple.  So you still have time to join in till the end of the month for a chance to win!

Kiss a Frog Valentine card

Hello and happy Valentine's Day.  I'm sharing one last Valentine's card - well, for the moment since I'm still finishing up two others, but I think even late they will still be well received.

I guess these are usually called Gal-entine cards.  This is for one of my besties who has kissed her fair share of frogs, and those darn things never turn into prince charming!  I figure we will end up together in a little house when we are old and just be happy - remember the ending of The Color Purple??
Anyway, my image is from From the Heart Stamps by artist Faith who is no longer with us.  I added a bit of sparkly gel pen to the crown and of course a touch of glaze.  The sentiment is computer generated.

That is my share for today.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend and thank you for stopping by.

This meets the following challenges: Polkadoodles: Anything Goes, Cute Card Thursday: CAS, Southern Girls: Anything Goes, and Little Red Wagon: Wild One.

  Thanks Southern Girls!

Valentine Mouse in Yellow

Hello and welcome to February!  I'm currently making just a handful of Valentine cards and I'm here to share my latest for the current Papercraft Business Challenge: Love/Valentine.

I'm featuring a cute little mouse in his sweater from From the Heart stamp by artist Faith who is no longer with us.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I have quite a few layers going on, but I think it's still rather simple.
I put glossy goodness on the hearts on his tail and the couple on the ground.  So, two Valentine cards down, a few more to go!

Join in all month long for a chance to win a stamp set.  Thank you for taking a peek at my latest creation.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Up in the Air with From the Heart

Hello and happy July!  I can't believe we are already half way through the year.  At least I've already done some of my Christmas shopping...yes, I'm one of those who buys throughout the year, but when something is on sale, I figure I end up saving in the long run.  At least that's my excuse.

Today I'm sharing a card for the latest challenge at Papercraft Challege: Up in the Air -or- Anything Goes.

I'm featuring a cute From the Heart stamp by artist Faith who is no longer with us.  We just got back from Disneyland and these balloons remind me of all the balloons for sale on the streets.  Anyway, I tried the transparent balloon coloring, and wasn't really successful, but I gave it my best shot.
Just a touch of glaze on the heart balloon, and popped up sentiment to cover up the balloons I was especially disappointed with.  Oh well.

That's it from me today.  Play along this month if you get a chance and thank you for visiting.

This meets the following challenges:  2 Crafty Critter Crazies: Anything Goes with a CritterA Perfect Time to Craft: Anything Goes, Crafts Galore Encore: Anything Goes, and Crafting from the Heart: Anything Goes.
