I'm featuring a cute little pup from the Bugaboo Stamps Chihuahua Puppy Set. This is for my little cousin's birthday because she just loves these little dogs. Personally, I like real large dogs. My Jack, who passed a few years ago, weighed in at 120 pounds, and he was my gentle giant. Anyway, the sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit. And if you find time to be crafty, I hope you get a chance to join in.
Hello! Wow, Christmas is just right around the corner and I've actually completed everything on my To-Do list and I'm feeling quite accomplished! So, now to catch up on crafty goodness. Today I'm sharing a card for the current Corrosive Challenge Blog challenge which is Anything Goes:
I'm featuring a digi from Fresh Air Printables one of the sponsors this month, and the challenge goes through December 31. So join in if you can!
Hello and hope all is well. I can definitely say that winter has hit my part of town! When it drops to 20 degrees, it's time to pull out the scarf! Well, I'm back for another day of Christmas Chaos at Catch the Bug. Today's challenge is: Oldie but Goodie Color Challenge!
As I was preparing for this post, I realized that I didn't exactly remember the color challenge part! Well, I'm going to post anyway, if anything just to encourage you to check out the challenge. I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Snowmen Trio. I hope you get a chance to play along this week for a chance to win Bugaboo Stamps.
Hello! It's officially December and life is already getting busy with fieldtrips, class parties, Christmas plays, and all the other events around town! Believe it or not, we already have our tree up, and I'm just about done with Christmas shopping!
I'm CASE-ing a card that unfortunately I don't know who to credit. Lot's of white and featuring a Bugaboo Stamp snowman. I even pulled out the glitter for the star - and I can honestly say, glitter is not my embellishment of choice! Anyway, visit Catch the Bug Challenge Blog every day this week to see and join in all the challenges!
I completely cased this from Mimi's Craft Room. I pretty much changed nothing since there's no use messing with perfection. However, I added ribbon to meet the challenge. The image is Bugaboo Stamps Sunflower Vase which is only $1. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit. So that's it for today. Thanks so much for taking a peek and have a wonderful weekend!
Hello all. Today I'm sharing a super cute new release from Bugaboo Stamps!
This little cutie is Fall Fox - unfortunately, he's not up at the Bugaboo Stamps Store just yet, but hopefully soon. The cute card cutout is from a Sizzix set and the sentiment is from Create with TLC. Short post today - still dealing with a sinus infection!
Hello and happy Monday! I don't know about you, but I happen to like this time change. The Spring forward one....I never get used to. But Fall back and all of a sudden, I go to bed on time, wake up on time, and I feel more accomplished.
I'm not sure if this is considered a "fancy fold" but it's not a traditional rectangle. The polka dots are only half a fold with the green section and digi partially adhered. Hopefully you can see the design in the pic. Also, I added a little string for interest. So join along in the super easy anything goes challenge if you can!! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week.
Hello and welcome November! Starting this month, the days are going to rush by with so many fun activities and possibly travel. Anyway, today I'm sharing a card for this weeks Catch the Bug Challenge: Anything Goes - always super easy to join!
I've been trying to make a card or two each month to be ready for Christmas. I'm still no way near the amount of cards I need to send out. But hey, I'm trying. I'm featuring a cute Bugaboo Stamps snowman aptly named Cute Snowman. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Short and Sweet set. So join in this week with the super easy challenge.
Hello - it's just about the end of October aka Halloween. Then the rush is on for Thanksgiving and Christmas! OK, I'm getting ahead of myself. Anyway, today I'm sharing a card for the latest Tiddly Inks challenge: Spookaboo.
I have a couple "spooky" images, but went with Annie - but I can't find her at the Tiddly Inks store. And I believe the pumpkin was a freebie from long ago. The sentiment is from Create with TLC. So this is my last Halloween card for the season. Now, it's time to kick it in high gear making Christmas cards!
I used a card from one of my Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kits and colored it up and also used the Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes for the sentiment, and added this week's freebie Bugaboo Stamps Scarecrow Sitter upon a little ric rak. So you have one week to pick up this week's freebie. Thanks for stopping by!
Hello! I'm back with another Halloween card. My previous post was to show Bean's card and this one is to show Sprout's card. The current challenge at Catch the Bug is Bingo! I'm going with Destress/Player's Choice (BB Image)/Die or Punch.
Again, my inspiration is from Rutabaga Pie Designs - who's coloring is just awesome. The image is Bugaboo Stamps Halloween Spider Kitty. The year dies don't show up as well being black on black, but I try to personalize their cards....maybe I should have used yellow. Yea, yellow would have been better. Anyway, join in if you can this week!
Hello! Today I'm sharing a card for this weeks Catch the Bug Challenge: It's All About the Numbers. I thought this would be perfect for this years Halloween cards for the girls. I make them cards, put in a little info - like their costume, school parties, any interesting trick or treat stories, and I put the cards in a box for them to read when they are older.
Anyway, this is Bean's card that I CASE'd from RutabagaPie Designs - her clouds are SO amazing, and I honestly didn't know how to replicate them, but please check out her card since I find it to be so awesome. This year, Bean wants to be Wednesday Addams. One of MY favorite characters too! So that's all for me today. Please join the challenge if you get a chance.
I do need more Christmas cards so I'm going to try to get in at least 2 cards a month until December....and I probably won't succeed and I'll be rushing like a mad(wo)man to get my cards out at the last minute. Oh well, at least I know what to expect of myself! My reindeer is from Bugaboo Stamps Christmas Blocks - there are three blocks, but I like to enlarge them and use them separately. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit.
So join in if you can for the super simple Anything goes challenge this week.
Hello and I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far! We have plans to go berry picking, but with all the rain, I'm not sure the U-pick fields will be open. Hopefully, we can still go pick since this will be our last chance before it gets really cold.
Hello all! We were blessed with a late vacation to Great Wolf Lodge, and if you have never been to one, you MUST take a look. It's a water resort that is much more than just a water park. Needless to say, the girls were thrilled...and exhausted! Me too, but in a good way with great memories.
I'm going with Sentiment/Sparkle/Bugaboo Image. And the Bugaboo image I am featuring is from Birthday Girl Set. The layout is from Splitcoaststampers (297) and the sentiment is from a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin kit. I haven't used one of their layouts in forever but sometimes, they are such a great starting point when I'm stuck. So I hope you will join along if you get a chance this week! Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hello and yay the week is almost over! With the girls back in school, it's time for weeks to fly by and living life in a blur! But that's ok. Although the other night I was thinking about Bean and how more than half of her life with me at home is almost over and I couldn't imagine my life without my babies by my side....brought a tear to my eye.
But on a happier note, I'm here to share a Bugaboo card using an older but still much loved image. Actually, I've had this one for a while and never colored her up:
She is Bugaboo Stamp Kidz Daisy. Daisies are my favorite flower! I'm also using Sentimentals Cricut Cart for the stamp die cut. Also, for more Bugaboo inspiration, please visit Catch the Bug Blog. So just a short post today. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek.
Hello all! Today my girls started school and it's always so much fun watching them take it all so seriously, making sure to have their backpacks packed, waking up early, filling water bottles, etc. Of course next week will probably be a whole other story.
Hello and happy Thursday! School starts next week and the girls are getting excited. Actually, so am I, and I look forward to the routine. This year Sprout has the same teacher as last year which is comforting. They go to a small school where everyone knows each other and it's been such a positive experience.
Anyway, I made her teacher card and I'm also working on a few other non-card things for some of the other people at their school. For this I used Create a Critter Cricut cart, and a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin sentiment. Just a couple more days to the first day of school!! Thanks for taking a peek.
Hello all and welcome to my first DT post for The Corrosive Challenge Blog! The challenge runs for a month so you have lots of time to join in. This month, the challenge is: Happy Holidays
So far, I've already messed up my first DT entry - I didn't read closely enough about the theme this month. But, maybe all the green will go with Christmas? Yeah, a bit of a stretch but I'm going to show off my card anyway and invite you to join in the Happy Holidays Corrosive Challenge! I'm featuring a gorgeous image titled Flying Elf from Fabrika Fantasy. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes.
So join us if you can at The Corrosive Challenge Blog with your Happy Holidays creation - which is open to interpretation of course! And have a wonderful week!
Hello and can you believe we are already in August?! School starts in a couple weeks, and I think we are all ready for a little routine. Today I would like to share a card I CASE-d from Sandcastle Stamper.
I loved her simple design and didn't want to change it - my only addition was the sewing. I really do love all the inspiration out there. I don't feel I do well at masculine cards, but I think this will make for a perfect guy-birthday-card! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week.
Hello and hope you had a wonderful weekend. It was my first weekend in a long time I didn't sleep most of it away! So I got a few things done, including this card using the latest Paper Play Sketch:
Unfortunately, a young woman at my church is going through a rough time, so I'm putting together a little basket on behalf of the church and this card to go along with it. The owl is from Cricut Paisley Cachemire, and the sentiment is from SU's Teeny Tiny Wishes. That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!
Hello and hope you are having a wonderful week! As for me, been busy with work, VBS, and trying to catch all the back to school sales. I probably spend more in gas going from store to store just to get pencils and crayons for 25cents each.
Anyway, Christmas in July is still in full swing at Catch the Bug. Monday was ABC day (Anything But a Card) - but you have until tomorrow to enter ANY of the challenges.
I made a couple very quick tags - using non-traditional colors and paint samples from Home Depot (that have been lying around for a few years). So, this is just a reminder to enter any or all challenges by tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
I'm featuring the snowman from the Bugaboo Stamps Christmas Blocks Digi Stamp set. So there are three adorable images - and I enlarged it and used just the snowman. I used sequins for the sparkle, and if you look closely, I added a little shine to his nose and hat.
Not only that, but I even made this a fancy fold! I saw this on pinterest and just HAD to try it for myself. Super simple and I think it really adds interest. Plus it got me out of my usual rectangle rut for a brief moment. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit. So join us all week long with lots of inspiration and chances to win Bugaboo Stamps.
Hello all and happy Saturday! The current challenge at Catch the Bug is: Outdoor Fun.
For me, my idea of outdoor fun is gardening. I feel every year I learn a little bit more and hopefully some day I will have successful flower and vegetable gardens. I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Ava Flower Patch - with the sentiment from a Stampin' Up's Paper Pumpkin kit and that neat swirl die cut from Sizzix. So join in if possible this week!
Hello and Happy Friday! Today a new Freebie Friday has been posted at Bugaboo Stamps!
This is Bugaboo Stamps Guy Surfer - and he's free for one week only! So don't delay, pick him up today! The sentiment Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes as well as some individual letter stamps (probably from Michael's dollar spot).
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my super short post.
Hello and can you believe it's already July?!! I just can't get over how fast this summer is going by. It seems just like yesterday spring ball was over and now we are already coming up on fall ball (my little one plays softball so that's our life lately).
Always a favorite since everyone can play along. I'm featuring a cute little Bugaboo Stamps (not yet in the new store). So play along if you get a chance. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.
Hello and quick share today - in celebration of Hot Air Balloon day. Yes, there is such a holiday - and at Catch the Bug, we love celebrating little known holidays.
I'm featuring a Bugaboo stamp that unfortunately isn't currently in the store. Hopefully it will be back soon. I figure I will add a sentiment when I'm ready to send this off. Again, quick share today. I hope you have a wonderful week.
Hello all and hope you had a wonderful weekend! Today I sent my "baby" off to camp for the week...and I don't know if I will survive. I mean, who will make sure she eats right? Brushes her teeth? Puts on sunscreen? There are so many things that she still needs a mama for and I'm not there to meet those needs!
Anyway, while my mind goes 100 miles an hour thinking about all of that, I'll share a card with you for this weeks challenge at Catch the Bug: Anything Goes
Always a favorite challenge for most of us right? Well, I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Scene It Ladybugs. Again, this week's challenge is Anything Goes! So join in if you get a chance. And thank you for taking a look.
This is more of a way to thanks to a friend for being there in a time of need. Hopefully that counts! I'm using the ladybug from Cricut cart Home Decor as the main focus. Again, short post and thanks for stopping by!
I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Balloon Bundle. This is actually one of my favorite images. I just figure you can't go wrong with a bunch of balloons for so many occasions. I don't know about you, but I have several birthdays coming up in June as well as other celebrations and card requests - so I'm keeping busy.
You have until Friday to enter the latest Color challenge - hope you are able to join us. Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Ava Baseball on my Bean's Birthday card! She's 10 years old this year, and she's a little softball player. These aren't her team colors, but blue is her favorite color so that's what I went with. My Bingo is Sparkle/Stitching/Sentiment. The banner has the sparkle/glitter. The numbers are from Cricut cart Opposites Attract. So you still have time to join in! Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hello all and I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day. At Catch the Bug, we like to celebrate holidays - the lesser known as well as the more popular. So I'm sharing a card for Mother's Day. Yes, it has past, but I believe we should appreciate our Moms every day!
I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Teacup Flowers. This was made for someone in particular, and I haven't even mailed it! The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes. So have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
Hello and hope you had a wonderful weekend. Today I would like to share a little treat I made for the kids in my family for Easter. I like to give them little handmade items in hopes they will grow to appreciate such things. I know lots of kids love store bought stuff, of course, how could they not? But hopefully they learn to love crafts, made by hand, that take time and thought.
Anyway, I put together jellybean bracelets, packaged them, and slapped a cute little label on them. The label features Bugaboo Stamps Bunny and Chick Topper. I'm sure they enjoyed them - who can resist a Jelly Belly? That's it for today....thanks for stopping by.
Hello and Happy Easter! This weekend will bring two egg hunts, a visit from the Easter Bunny, good food with family, and a church baptism. Busy, but a special time for all.
Today I'm sharing a card for this weeks Catch the Bug challenge: Bingo (please see blog for Bingo card):
I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Kidz Daisy 2. I have a thing for blue daisies - I know they are not exactly found in nature, but I've managed to receive some before. My Bingo is Die or Punch/Bugaboo Image/Ribbon. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin.
That's it for today. I wish you a wonderful weekend!
