Groovy Rory Retro Flower Child

 Hello and welcome July!

Today I'm sharing a card I made for last month's Corrosive Challenge.

My image is Rory Love and Peace Hippie by Colour of Love.  I thought she was just adorable.  I created my background is Taylored Expressions Dahlia Stencil with Ranger Inks.  The sentiment is diecut using Sizzix.  I cut each letter 3 times to make them thick.

Thanks for taking a look at one of my latest creations.

My card meets the following challenges:  A Gem of a Challenge: Anything Goes, Happy Little Stampers: Anything Goes with Dies, and Cut it Up: Summer Lovin' with Die cut.

Winter Bear Christmas Card

Hello and happy hump day!  I'm running late on making Christmas cards...well, I'm going to be honest, I'm late on just about everything at the moment and boy is my back killing me - since that's where I carry my stress.  And having a back being held together with titanium bars and 8 long screws, it tends to affect whether my legs work or not.

But I'm not here for a pity party!  I'm here to show you my latest card for the Catch the Bug Holiday Critter Chaos week!  This is a week of challenges with lots of prizes, so join in if you get a chance!

I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Winter Bears Mini Set, which comes with the sentiment.  I colored up a few of these, added a few snowflakes from Sizzix, sequins, and twine.  I kept this as flat as possible for mailing.

So that is my share today.  Please join the week long challenges if you can!  Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Christmas Penguin Card

Hello and welcome to December!!  The Papercraft Business Challenge is taking a break this month, but will return in January!  I'm here to share my latest creation:
I looked through images and came upon this Just Some Lines image from long ago (store is closed).  I don't know what it is about penguins and Christmas, but they do seem to go hand in hand.

I colored my penguin with Copics, fussy cut, and used black Copic around the image so the white part of the cardstock is not visible.
I'm using a Sizzix die for the scalloped card - and it's a bit difficult using my Cuttlebug, but I like the results as long as I'm patient.  I added a bit of glaze over my sparkly pen and only popped up the penguin.

Thank you for stopping by to take a peek at my latest creation.  Have a wonderful day.

Stand Tall Pineapple Card

Hello! So close to the weekend, not that I have any plans, but I just really feel I need a break.  With school starting so soon, I feel overwhelmed....but I don't know with what!  We have most of the supply shopping done, and all the clothes purchased, but I feel like I should be doing something.

I guess this is anxiety.

But today I'm sharing a card I made with a new Sizzix die I recently purchased with some birthday money from my dad.
This is for my little cousin who is currently going through a lot at the moment.  I know the outside seems a little plain but just wait - plus, I loved that it came with the perfect sentiment too.
The card opens so cute.  I did have trouble with those "marks" or "indentations" or whatever, left when the die goes through the Cuttlebug - know what I mean?  Not sure if there is a secret to avoid those, but they are more noticeable on the inside.  So I wrote my message on the white areas to cover up all the wrinkles/marks/indentations.

So that's it for me.  I'm off to worry about stuff that doesn't currently exist.

This meets the following challenges: Classic Design Team August Challenge: Anything Goes (must be on a DT), Crafts Galore Encore: Anything Goes, Crafty Gals Corner: Tropical Colors, and Mod Squad Challenge: Shaped Cards.

Annies Art for Papercraft Business

Hello and hope all is well.  Today I am sharing a card for the new Papercraft Business July Challenge: Anything Goes!  Always a favorite and super easy challenge.
This Tiddly Inks image, Annie's Art (currently FREE), was chosen specifically for my mom because she is quite creative, and the paint spat die cut in black is Sizzix.  We try to attend at least one Paint Nite every couple of months - and if you have never been to a Paint Nite, you have got to give it a try!  It is so much fun!!

Again, the challenge is anything goes and the winner will receive a Magnolia Tilda doily.  Plus, the challenge lasts all month long!  Thanks so much for taking a look and have a wonderful day.

This meets the following challenges: Crafting With An Attitude: Anything Goes, Tiddly Inks: Anything Goes with a TI image, and Watercooler Wednesday: Anything Goes Feminine.

Christmas Snowmen block card

Hello and just one more day until my kids are officially on summer break.  This is about the time that I stock up on pineapple mimosa!  But for today, I'm sharing an oldie but goodie - which is when we share older but still much loved Bugaboo Stamps.

I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Snowmen Block in my efforts to create Christmas cards all year long.  I also attempt to keep my cards as flat as possible for the sake of mailing.  I have some non traditional colors on this one...but it IS spring, which makes it near impossible for me to pull out traditional Christmas colored papers.  I think I've only managed 4 Christmas cards this year....but I'll continue trying.  Also, that nifty little scribble die cut is from Sizzix.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

This meets the following challenges: Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge: Anything Christmas (option of trees), ABC Christmas Challenge: K for Keep it Simple, Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round: Anything Goes Christmas, and Crafts Galore Encore: Anything Goes.

Helping Friends Gruffies Valentine Card

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a card for a few challenges.  Honestly, I'm not a big Valentine fan, but I do my best to be festive for my girls for most holidays - including this day of "love."

This year I made a card for my bestie (who is also single) and I plan to surprise her at work with a  box of chocolates.  With her kids all grown up...well, I have a feeling they are so into their lives right now that they might forget their mama.  So hopefully I will put a smile on her face.  Of course I'm not going all lovey-dovey, but I have the required red, heart, and inside reads "happy valentine's day."  Sentiments are from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit and that scribble heart is a Sizzix die cut.

This Gruffies stamp is SO us.  We might not see each other often, but we are there for each other in times of need....or when we really need a margarita!

So, this will be entered in the following challenges: House-Mouse and Friends: Love, Dragonfly Journeys: Red, and CardzTV Challenge #31: Anything Goes.

Chubby Butterfly Birthday Wishes Card

Hello and hope you had a wonderful weekend! I was fortunate enough to have a three day weekend, and was able to get some much needed things done around the house as well as spend quality time with my girls.

Anyway, this week at Catch the Bug, there is a big Bugaboo Stamps celebration going on.  So every day this week is a new challenge.  Saturday was the kick off with Bold & Bright Birthday Wishes!
So I'm definitely going bold AND bright!  A little colorful for me, but it was a nice change of pace.  I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Chubby Butterfly - which is a $1 digi!  I went a little simple since the colors were overwhelming me LOL!  The die cut sentiment is from a Sizzix die set.

So all week there are new challenges.  I hope you get a chance to join in!

This meets the following challenges: A Gem of A Challenge: Happy Anything, Brown Sugar: Birthday, Polkadoodles: Anything Goes, and Digi Choosday: Anything Goes.

Fall Fox Thoughts Card

Hello all.  Today I'm sharing a super cute new release from Bugaboo Stamps!
This little cutie is Fall Fox - unfortunately, he's not up at the Bugaboo Stamps Store just yet, but hopefully soon.  The cute card cutout is from a Sizzix set and the sentiment is from Create with TLC.  Short post today - still dealing with a sinus infection!

Picking Flowers with Bugaboo Stamps

Hello all and happy Saturday!  The current challenge at Catch the Bug is: Outdoor Fun.
For me, my idea of outdoor fun is gardening.  I feel every year I learn a little bit more and hopefully some day I will have successful flower and vegetable gardens.  I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Ava Flower Patch - with the sentiment from a Stampin' Up's Paper Pumpkin kit and that neat swirl die cut from Sizzix. So join in if possible this week!

Brown Easter Bunny with Bugaboo Stamps

Hello and welcome.  Today I'm sharing a card for the current Catch the Bug Blog challenge: Anything Goes!  Always a favorite.
I'm going with non-traditional colors on this one, featuring Bugaboo Stamps Bugaboo Bunny.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin and the die cut is Sizzix.  Even with all the brown, I would have to say this is my favorite Easter card so far.  So play along with us this week if you can.
