Monkey Love Valentine Card

Hello and happy Friday!  Tonight is book fair at my kids school, and I don't know if you remember bringing home a Scholastic handout filled with wonderful books for sale, and going to the fairs and spending your last pennies on a cool bookmark, but to this day, I LOVE going and seeing what is for sale.

Also today is Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps.

And you can pick up this adorable Monkey with Hearts for free all week long.  He looks like he's been caught in the act of stealing all the hearts.

I picked papers with a sewing theme since this is for the girls' Grandmother who is an excellent quilter.
Hopefully the papers aren't too busy.  I feel like my little guy is a little lost in the background.  But I did pop him up to hopefully bring him more forward.  Added a few sequins and popped up a little star.  The sentiment is computer generated.  That's about it.

So pick up your freebie this week!  Thank you for stopping by to take a look.

This meets the following challenges:  CRAFT Challenge: Love/ValentineCute Card Thursday: Anything Goes, Simon Says Stamp: With Love, and Watercooler Wednesday: Feminine.

I love book fairs of any kind. I do warmly remember Scholastic book fairs, but library book fairs, stores that sell old books, anything like that will do!

Your card is completely adorable. The monkey stands out just fine and the papers are perfect for your girls' grandma!

Have always loved the monkey. I missed the Freebie Friday, but I may have it if it's an oldie but goodies. That image could me used anytime and not just Valentines. I LOVED the Scholastic magazine time to buy and yes, I would spend the money. Gosh, forgot all about that until you mentioned.
