Thank You Eagle card

Hello and yay it's Friday.  To be honest, I have lost track of the days.  I couldn't tell you a Sunday from a Wednesday.  We wake up, brush teeth, and just get on with what we think we should be doing.  I wonder if this is what retirement feels like?

Well, for this Friday, I would like to share a card for the latest Corrosive Challenge: Anything Goes.
I picked this Eagle from Morgan's Art World with the intention of making a 4th of July creation.  My first attempt was just awful and dark, so I changed the layout and the papers and thought this could actually be used for anything.  Still being a bit patriotic, I searched for a thank you stamp.  I FAILED at heat embossing the sentiment three times and ended up just stamping in black.  I sure messed up a lot of DP.
Eagle eyes are usually more of a green, but I went with blue.  I added a touch of glaze for fun, a couple die cut flourishes and gold stars.  So that's it from me today.  Thank you for stopping by.  Join in this month if you can and there is also a free digi for all.

This meets the following challenges:  Crafty Creations: Anything Goes, Artsy Stamper Challenge: Things With Wings, and Crafty Creations: Anything Goes.

No, retirement is a little more fun than what you described....haha Beatufiul job on the eyes...even blue. I find that birds don't have the sweetest face. Great job on th white part too...I find that the hardest. Enjoy the weekend and stay well and safe.
