Hello and Happy Tuesday.  If you are following along with Christmas in July at Catch the Bug, the challenge today is:

And I'm using the Santa in the Sand for my Christmas tag:

Christmas Angel

Hello and hope you had a great weekend.  Today's Christmas in July Challenge over at Catch the Bug is:
NON CHRISTMAS IMAGE
This was a fun one for me making me think outside the box.  I used Jesse Bear Angel for my card:
Without the sentiment, I wasn't sure if it was Christmas-y enough, so I made sure to stamp the outside using Stampin' Up's Petite Pairs.  The layout is Splitcoaststampers SC73 with a little added flourish.
I added a little glitter on the wings and some glossy accents.

Christmas in July Bugaboo Hop

Hello and thank you for stopping by!  If you are here from Linda's Blog, you are right on track.  If you are just here to visit lil' ol' me, then welcome to the:

Today for our hop, we are featuring cards for kids.  I'm using Knobby Knees Christmas - Candy Cane:
The layout is Splitcoaststampers SC19 and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes.  I like the simple layout - even thought my "random" tearing really isn't so random LOL!  I added a little sewing and that that's about as fancy as I got.
Here is a close up of my image...that you could win!  Just leave me a comment and I will chose one person using Random.Org!

There are LOTS of chances to win prizes from Bugaboo Stamps.  Check out Catch the Bug for ALL the details.  I hope you are enjoying the hop!

Inside Out with Ice Cream

Hello all and Happy Wednesday!  Today I'm sharing a card for two challenges that are being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps:

The first is Crafting for All Seasons:
 ICE CREAM/POPSICLE

I used Birthday Penguin - Ice Cream , a little kraft, and a touch of sewing:
The second is the Digital Tuesday challenge:
INSIDE OUT (decorate the inside of the card too)
Going off the drips on the ice cream cone, I used a Martha Stewart border punch, more sewing and Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Wishes for the sentiment.  Thank you for visiting today and stay cool!

Silhouette Card Set

Hello and happy Saturday!  Today a new challenge has been set at Catch the Bug:
ANYTHING GOES
I really like the silhouettes at Bugaboo and have been wanting to make a set of cards for my little cousin:
I used the Silhouette - Elephant for two cards:
And I used the Silhouette - Butterfly for the other two:
They each have a different sentiment just for variety, but are pretty much all occasion.  The papers are from  Pink Petticoat, and I added just a touch of sewing but was going for a CAS look.  She lives far from all of us, and I hope these will help her stay in touch with her friends.

A Couple Announcements

Hello all and Happy Friday!!!  Woo-hoo!!!  I just want to share that today is Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps and you can see some awesome creations at Catch the Bug using the freebie!  I haven't had much time to myself and wasn't able to use the freebie this week, but I'm taking it for later anyway :)
Also, I want to share that Bugaboo Stamps is having a fabulous sale!  I'm not just spreading the word because I'm on the design team - one of the best DT's out there - but because I REALLY LOVE Bugaboo!
That's all folks!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Cookie Boy

Hello all.  Wow, I've been gone for a little bit huh?  I didn't even realize it's been a while since I last posted (thanks for checking on me Sandy!).  The heat must be getting to me!  Well, I'm still around.  Been trying to be productive around the house.  That's code for cleaning and de-cluttering!  I can't believe how much stuff I have accumulated!
Anyway, allow me to share a CUTE little cookie boy card kit with you.  And for the record, chocolate chip cookies are my fave and I have perfected my "high altitude" recipe.  The stamp is from Bugaboo and is part of a kit that includes images, sentiments, and papers.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you are enjoying your summer so far!
