Happy Birthday Monster

Hello and happy Wednesday! Here is a card I made for my Auntie Diane. Her birthday is in October, and she's also a crafty lady. I've been sending her my handmade cards from the beginning and she was so inspired that she got her own Cricut and now makes papercrafts! And you should have seen some of MY first attempts! LOL! I would not have considered them to be "inspiring" at all!

A while back, Dustin Pike had a sale and I just had to have these little guys. He's colored with copics...I went a little outside the lines because I was busy watching Bean go to "Target" on her 3-wheeler.

I used two different Cuttlebug folders, sentiment is Inkadinkado, sewing. Note to self: stamp sentiment BEFORE embossing! I also added glaze to teeth, eyes, and balloon.

This card meets the following challenges:

I love it .. how awesome that you inspired your Auntie into getting her own Cricut. This just couldn't be any cuter. Love how you used the two embossing folders and thanks for the tip on stamping before embossing.

It is really nice to look back at your stuff to see how much your style has changed. For me though it is a bit of a horror story. How lovely though to be a mentor for your Auntie, it is nice to have another crafter in the family to sound off to.
