Rainbow of Monsters Birthday Card

Hello all and Happy Thursday.  It's another day in the week of celebrations at Catch the Bug Blog in honor of Bugaboo Stamps Birthday.  Today's theme is a color challenge, so here's my creation:

I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps Make It Snappy Monsterific.  I'm a fan of the Make it Snappy line.

I have some dimension going on as well as some glossy goodness.  I actually like this one.  I think it's a fun card.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you are playing along this week.

This meets the following challenges:  Love To Craft: Anything Goes, Die Cuttin Divas: Happy Birthday (balloons & background are die cut), Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes, and Dragonfly Journeys: In Stitches.

Monster Mash with Bugaboo Stamps

Hello all!  Another year, and another Birthday for Bugaboo Stamps.  All week there will be lots of inspiration and challenges to celebrate at Catch the Bug Blog.  The theme this year is Monster Bash!  So to kick things off, I'm sharing this little creation:

I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps' Birthday Monster Balloon.  The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kit.
I also added a little glossy goodness to his face and horns.  Simple layout.  And that's it for me for today.  The challenges will be every day this week for lots of chances to win Bugaboo Stamps.  Hope you have a chance to play along.

Thank you for taking a look - I really appreciate your visit.

This meets the following challenges: Crafty Catz: Anything Goes with Birthday TwistCrafts Galore Encore: Anything Goes, Cardz TV: Anything Goes, and Crafty Creations: Anything Goes.

SSS Fish Birthday

Hello and happy Thursday!  I'm still trying to get into the swing of things this year, and this year, another goal of mine is to declutter!  So I've been working on that and have 5 bags (kitchen trash bag size) to drop off for donation!  I think it's amazing how much we collect and how difficult it can be to let go of "things."  Anyway, I hope to keep up the momentum until I feel my life, and house, are simplified.

But, for today, I would like to share a card I made using the Simon Says Stamp July 2018 kit.

I got this kit quickly because I know they sell out, and it's my first experience with an SSS kit.  This is my third card using this kit, and I hope to get more use out of it as time allows.  I got some new papers from Tuesday Mornings - I love that place - which I thought would be perfect for my fish background.
I did some copic refill smooshing on paper, then stamped the fish, which gave them each a unique color - instead of coloring them all in to look the same.  I added a little interest to the scales and glossy goodness to the bubbles.  The sentiment is actually heat embossed - using my new embossing pad I got for Christmas.  Some fish are flat while others are raised.

That's it for today.  Thank you for taking a look!

This meets the following challenges:  Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes, Dragonfly Journeys: Shiny and New (embossing pad and papers), Simon Says Monday Challenge: Something New (embossing pad and papers), and Cuttlebug Mania (Cuttlebug used for die cut rectangle with embossed stitching + new supplies).
