Goofy Snowmen Christmas Card

Hello and happy Thursday.  It sure has been cold and rainy lately.  It really is strange weather for this time of year but I can't complain since we always need the water.

For today, I would like to share a card using an oldie but goodie Bugaboo Stamps image - an older but still much loved digi.
Of course I'm concentrating on Christmas cards, which I should have been doing all year long, but honestly, I've barely done much of anything.  I'm featuring Goofy Snowmen and Friends.  I'm using non-traditional papers/colors and the sentiment is from a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin kit.
I added glaze and glittery pen for a touch of interest (thanks Cely!). I don't know where this pen has been all my life, but I see how it will now be a staple in my supply box.  I kept the card flat for easier mail delivery.

That is my share for today.  Thank you for taking a peek at my latest creation and have a wonderful day!

Hello and I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday.  Today I'm here to share a card for the latest Corrosive Challenge: Anything Goes:
My image is from MMedel Illustrations: Singing Reindeer.  I think he is just adorable!!  This is a flat card for easy mailing.  The snowflake dies are from a Sizzix set, added sequins, and added glaze.

Super short post today.  Thanks for taking a peek and join in the challenge, open all month long, if you get a chance.  Have a wonderful week!

Super Quick Gift Idea

Hello and wow it's already November.  I think about how fast time is going by every time I make a post - especially since lately my posts have been so far and few between.  But still, it's crazy to think we will be enjoying turkey and red chili soon.  Yes, it's a southwest thing.  You got to smother everything in either red or green.

For now, I'm sharing a super quick gift idea for the latest Papercraft Business Challenge: Gift Giving.

When I think about giving gifts, I usually think of teachers.  And the mailman.  My kids love the mailman and like making him presents for the holidays.  Anyway, since I'm always running behind on just about everything, I require really quick gift creations.

This little box, an Art-C die from Michaels, fits a gift card and a handful of kisses chocolates.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up's Itty Bitty Banners and some Spellbinders dies.  These come together in 5 to 10 minutes and are pretty darn cute.  Of course they can be way more elaborate and decorated than my belly band and twine.  But I did want to show that making something from the heart doesn't have to take all night.

So that's it from me today.  Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

Quirky Parrot

Hello and happy hump day!  Well, things have been busy but are settling down.  We have had a lot on our plate this past month and things are finally settling down and back to routine.  So to start back, I'm here with a reminder about the latest Corrosive Challenge: Anything Goes!

I'm featuring Quirky Parrot by Ike's Art.  I just thought his little head looks like he's asking a question.  I used the question bubble die from Taylored Expressions to cut my computer generated sentiment.  Anyway, just a quick post.  You still have until the end of the month to join in the challenge!  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Knot That Old Pretzel Tag

Hello and can you believe it's already October??  This month will be a busy one with school activities and pumpkin patch trips.  This is actually one of my favorite and most exhausting months!

To kick off this month, I'm sharing a tag for this months Papercraft Business Challenge: Tag It!  This is also an anything goes, but we hope to see tags on your creations.
I'm using the Simon Says Stamps I Chews You 2018 kit.  This really is an adorable set that I haven't used nearly as much as I had hoped.
I added a little dimension and glaze.  I added white dots for the salt as well.
Can you see the little face on these cute pretzels?  It's easy to miss, but they are cute once you see them.

So please join in this month if you can!  Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by.

Autumn Girl in Pink card

Hello and happy Freebie Friday!  I really thought this day would never come - not the freebie part, the Friday part.  Ever have those weeks that just don't seem to want to end?  Well, mine has been creeping by like a snail and all I want is a weekend.

Back to the freebie  part of this post.  Head over to Bugaboo Stamps to pick up this cute little Autumn Girl, free for one week.

I didn't really go overly fall-ish with this creation.  I think she's not quite committed to fall and is holding onto bits of summer.

The paper is from Miss Kate Cuttables, and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Itty Bitty Banners set.

I try to make cards that are easy to mail, and I actually managed a flat card this time.  I did add a bit of glaze, but a simple creation.  So don't forget to pick up your free digi from Bugaboo Stamps.

Artsy Butterfly Birthday Card

Hello and happy Tuesday!  Last night we got so much rain, and this morning I woke up to the cool air.  Yup, fall is literally in the air and I LOVE it all!  I find that the colors are different (and I don't just mean the changing of the leaves) and that there is even a distinct smell in the air that signifies the season's change.

But for today I am here to share a card for the latest Corrosive Challenge: Anything Goes.

I'm featuring Fred, She Said designs: Distressed Butterfly and Blossoms set.

I was going for "artsy" and something new with this image.  I literally pulled out my copic refills and started placing color, drop by drop, onto the image.  I tried to keep the colors somewhat contained, since I wanted my butterfly to be orange and yellow, but I didn't stress too much when colors ran together.
I read on a bottle of liquid pearls that you can use a paint brush to apply the product.  OK, let's give this a try!!  I painted only the butterfly, using a small paint brush.  Honestly, I was a bit disappointed because my colors were muted.  So I thought, I'll drop more copic ink!  And I believe it really saved the image AND you can still see the glimmer from the liquid pearls.

The sentiment is from a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin kit, and I added a bit of sewing.  Different style for me, but I'm good with it.

That's it from me.  Thank you for stopping by.
