Hello all and Happy New Year. I hope you all had a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Year. I was fortunate enough to have a break from work to spend with my girls - but, again, I realized that I am NOT stay-at-home material. I admit, I was looking forward to returning to work!!
Anyway, today I'd like to share a card featuring a new release from Doodle Pantry: Roller Skates
We actually do enjoy roller skating and the girls got new skates last month. And I couldn't believe that I still remember how to boogie around the rink!! I thought this would make a great birthday card. So check out the new releases at the shop, and have a wonderful week!

Pom Pom Earrings
Hello and Happy Monday! Today I'm sharing a little gift idea that is super simple to make:
I found these little pom poms at Michael's. They came in several sizes, but I really only wanted the little ones. I simply glued the pom poms on the flat earring posts (don't forget to buy earring backs) with E6000 glue. That's it.
To fancy them up for little girls, I put three pairs on my earring card using Doodle Pantry's Winter Critters. Super cute, variety of colors, and who doesn't love fuzzy earrings? I would like to enter these in the following challenges: All Crafts (no cards) Challenge, Cutie Pie Challenge: Anything But a Card, and Ooh La La Creations: Christmas.

All is Calm Gift Card Holder
Hello all and Happy Friday. Today I'm sharing a card I made with one of those gift card centers featuring Doodle Pantry's All is Calm:
I made a few of these for the librarians - Sprout calls them her teachers, and they deserve that title because she goes weekly to story time and arts and crafts. We really do have great libraries and librarians. Since I needed four of these, I went with a really simple layout.
It's hard to see the insert, but I really like the way these open up so the card pops right up. I think it's much more fun than just putting the card inside. So that's it for today. I hope to be back soon to regular posting! This meets the following challenges: Crafts Galore Encore: Anything goes, Divas by Design: Anything goes, Little Red Wagon: Christmas, and The Paper Shelter: Anything Goes.

Penguins and Snowmen with Bugaboo Stamps
Hello all and Happy Friday! This week at Catch the Bug, there are several "mini challenges" going on. Check out the Blog for all the details!! Since I'm running late, I'm featuring a card for yesterday's challenge: Christmas Critters:
I thought this Bugaboo Stamp Duo Penguin Tree was perfect for a card to "Grandma" from my girls. The layout is Splitcoaststampers SC188. And here is a card for today's challenge: Clean and Simple:
Oh how I love me some CAS cards! I picked this Two Snowman image to go to my brother and nephew. So you still have time to play along! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Skelekinz Christmas with Bugaboo Stamps
Hello and welcome to day two of Catch the Bug's Christmas Chaos. Today's event is a sketch:
I'm featuring Bugaboo Stamps' Skelekinz Merry Christmas for my non-traditional goth card - for Beanie this year. Hopefully she won't wonder if mama was drinking it up when I made this - I always try to fit my cards to the girls' personalities at the time. So stop by Catch the Bug for all the fun going on this week.

Christmas Cactus with Doodle Pantry
Hello and Happy Friday. Today I'm sharing a new release from Doodle Pantry - Christmas Cactus.
Now, I'll be honest, this was a 20 minute card. But those are actually my favorite kinds to make. But what makes this so easy is the beautiful coloring of the images at Doodle Pantry. Anyway, I've been so busy lately with sick kids, being sick myself, finals, and work, that this will be yet another short post. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.
